I'm a US citizen but have been living abroad for the last 20 years. I was supposed to come home in May for a relative's wedding but I've cancelled it. The French scientist who was detained/deported made it clear it's dangerous to have social media critical of Trump and it's not worth the risk.

I've never committed violence but if I ever do, it will almost certainly be as a result of people walking 2 (or more!) abreast & not making any attempt to acknowledge that other people also need space to exist that isn't in incoming traffic. It triggers something in me and I'm Ready. To. Fight.

You sound ridiculous. Your countries' treatment of migrants and it's indigenous population is plainly available for everyone to see, without a fucking PhD in Australian vibes required. Maybe ask how TS islanders feels about your countries' treatment before acting a fool online.

“Have you ever said thank you once??” The most loser shit ever from the bring back masculinity crowd.

Being tricked by a woman is the ultimate insult for these dudes. It's the same reason they're all now obsessed with not paying for dates or honestly just being kind or literally anything else that they can frame in that way.

There's so much feeding in to it but misogyny feels undeniable. The idea they could be attracted to a trans woman (ergo GAY) or be fooled into respecting a man who is really just a woman are both simply intolerable to people who grew up always being right, while yearning for masculine acceptance.

Really depends if the docs solve the issue or not 😂 When I was first learning the code it was annoying because docs usually assume a reasonably high level of familiarity with ancillary tech that made parsing solutions not always straightforward.

It's simply staggering that someone with that CV was surprised to find out it's possible to be both employed and homeless.

One third of children in the UK live in poverty. Negativity is warranted.

That interview made me so angry. Lots of people have shitty views about immigration because the rightwing press suffer no consequences for purposely conflating "legal" & "illegal" and this asshole doubles down and pretends persecution of a tiny no. of people is a Labour "VALUE"? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck him.
