Man, the year 2025 and we’re still doing animalistic dehumanization. The vegans may be right that the only way to fix this is to seriously rethink our relationship with the animal world. I’m not a religious man, but Tuberville could probably start with Ecclesiastes 3:19.

The average calorie intake per person in America is 3600 calories. If you think replacing vegetable oils with beef tallow in the deep fryer is going to put a dent in the obesity epidemic, you’re probably selling the beef tallow. Dumbest times keep getting dumber.

Your daily reminder that pasteurization is good, but also that oat milk actually makes a better latte than cows milk because of beta-glucans or something. www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/r...

Yeah, this is fear mongering. Studies consistently show that higher protein diets are associated with good health outcomes, especially when that protein comes from plants. Is our current obsession with protein ridiculous? Yes Is the RDA for protein too low?: Yes www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_sM...

lol

“Nestle writes via email. “Is isolated pea protein healthier than eating peas? I don’t think so.”” For the 1 millionth time, these foods are not meant to replace plant foods, they are meant to replace animal foods. In a sane world, you could still eat your side of peas. www.inc.com/chloe-aiello...

I think I know of a solution to this monopoly chokehold. Solution in bio. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/25/w...

First year that I’ve consistently seen lantern flies by our home. Probably not a good sign.

Great, more people to brag about their VO2 max, sleep score, and being terrified of completely normal glucose spikes. More data isn’t necessarily better. 🤷‍♂️ My guess is this drives even more unhealthy, obsessive behaviors. www.politico.com/newsletters/...

The Tang Dynasty (600-900 AD) referred to wheat gluten as ‘mian jin’, which translates to….wheat meat. By the 20th century, people just started calling in seitan. I don’t care what you call it, just don’t fall for the cynicism of the animal ag industry. www.farmersjournal.ie/beef/news/me...

I will never not be frustrated by respected journalists still calling it fake meat. I don’t ever recall a period where people called the plant-based milks “fake milk”. And then we wonder why plant-based meat sales never took off but plant milks are now ~15 % of consumption. It’s all psychology.

Would love to see more PBM companies adding fortifications to their products just to make them a 💯 no brainer. Add in DHA/EPA Omega 3’s and some magnesium and it will be a superfood for most Americans, lol. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

In a world where we’re going to have to feed 10 billion people as crop yields are being pressured by a warming climate, it’s incredibly petty to call out affordable protein sources and healthy oils. I wish this company nothing but failure.

Hot Take: A tasty and affordable plant-based egg would have stopped fascism.
