Of course it does. That's why McFelon did it!

Of course not. Thx for including little Marco on this list. Somehow, he thinks his political future will survive all this. The only way it will is if there are no more elections...

I feel VERY good about it. I've called him worse & feel very good about THAT too! and I love this country & our democracy. That's precisely WHY I feel good about calling him names.

So outrageous. The courts continue to fail us by acting as if this is business as usual...

And then it was stayed...again, the courts let us down by acting as if this is a normal problem...

The difference is that I never acted like I did. Indidn’t question or attack you personally. You seem to like to look for ways to make snide digs. I disagreed with you on a viewpoint but I didn’t attack YOU as you did me. I’m done talking to you.

Retired generals could/should speak out en masse. ESP those who worked for him. Where is Mattie, Kelly, Milley, McMasters, et al?? They don’t want to jeopardize their cushy retirements or draw McFelon’s ire. I no longer have any respect for the military after this week-a hard realization to come to

I’m aware. And I’m the last person that would ever be accused of having a romantic viewpoint-about this or anything else. YOU don’t know anything about ME. My father was in the military. I was BORN on a military base. We should still EXPECT appropriate behavior. Ft Bragg soldiers were despicable.

I pay a LOT of attention. What’s true of soldiers is also true of cops. And elected officials. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still have the expectation that they will behave appropriately & put our country & its citizenry 1st. If we don’t start there, there is nothing left.

What you describe doesn’t mean that the military policy isn’t in place that they need to behave apolitically. If their commander gives them permission, HE should be disciplined. So it again goes back to what the impact of this completely inappropriate behavior indicates-that the military is lost

These are 2 different things! Handpicked means they selected ppl who support the orange monster & his policies. That doesn’t change MILITARY policy for uniformed troops - which is that they need to behave in an apolitical fashion REGARDLESS of their personal viewpoint. Not sure what YOU don’t get

I won’t stop being active but I’m a very realistic person. If we don’t have the military or DoJ or the House or the Senate or SCOTUS, we have only the lower Courts. There is no way for those courts to enforce their rulings because they rely on US Marshalls who are under the control of DoJ…

Sadly, I’m not surprised but I’m certainly horrified. All Americans should be. They should be even MORE horrified that there is no peep from military commanders.

SO?!? What the hell does that have to do with their behavior, which is in violation of military protocol which is to BEHAVE IN AN APOLITICAL MANNER WHEN IN UNIFORM.

BS. They can make this happen if they deem it important enough. Here’s their calendar with a nice long stretch where they aren’t in session…

AND “Speaker” Johnson blames it all on Senator Padilla & suggested HE should be censored?!? The train is off the rails & it stopped in authoritarian dictatorship land

I’m with Gavin. Hakeem NEVER sounds like anything is a big deal. What a horrible public speaker.

Which will incite even more to do shit like this - it’s a money-making grift. They are learning from the world’s biggest (also fattest) grifter felon.

And now “Speaker” Johnson is saying it’s SENATOR PADILLA’s FAULT & he should be censored?!? The train is off the rails & we live in a totalitarian state.

Enough is enough but WHAT?? At T he McFelon speech last week at the (again) Fort Bragg, UNIFORMED SOLDIERS BOOED THE FREE PRESS & the GOV of CA & MAYOR of CA!! With NO statement/apology from military leaders. No promise to correct their troops on the military being apolitical. Fascist Dictatorship!

If this is how they treat sitting members of Congress, mayors, and judges—people simply trying to serve—how do you think they’ll treat you?!?
This is deliberate. And it’s all about control and intimidation toward those who dare hold them accountable.
Enough is enough. (2/2)
