Id strongly recommend focussing on the positive aspects and experiences rather than feeling too bad about some people being shitty. From my experience this is not a different rate from what i see in the different stores ive been to. (Competitive)Magic is great and fun, dont let it be ruined for you

To 3. It sucks to read how many people made bad experiences due to other players behaviour. I did have some of these myself for sure. However ive made so many nice experiences/interactions with other people over the years that i really wouldnt want to miss. 6/x

Some big Problems with motivating players. The rcqs are way too expensive for what they offer. This comes down to wotc (and only them) to make these events more attractive. Lower prices or maybe better Promo cards to make up for the high prices. Also nationals are really missing. 6/x

To 2. Local communitys are important. They are important for having local Events like rcq, store Championchips or even just FNMs. Its important to organize these and coordinate the players. Ive seen stores/communities split, close down etc in the past 20+ years. Competitive play currently has 4/x

Nobody except very few people have the time to engange in all competitive formats + commander + whatever. I strongly recommend focussing on one or maybe 2 formats/decks to learn and master the play. Its much better than always jumping between tier1 decks that you never played before. 3/x

To 1: As long as theres i a "working" local community organizing cards for tournaments should be possible. It mostly requires coordination with the community. I myself am lucky enough to have a solid collection of staples and regularly borrow full decks to local players. For time its about focus 2/x

Imo it was perfect timing to ban beanstalk an monstrous rage with the last ban announcement. Could have given the format a full new face and also wouldnt really have hit anyones purse too bad as both are low value uncommons

I mostly come from the point of searching the format for creatures with selfmill abilities. Then choosing then ones that have usefull additions. Mill 2 is not perfect for 2 mana compared to other options, but it blocks well, so i tried it

can definately play around. i like deathtouchers against the red aggro variants as they even trade against their tricks while also milling. against pixi you should be very fine by just bringing all the mites and scrashooters
