Yesterday, I had a family member recommend I use genAI to generate a "photo" to mark an upcoming birthday, when I have already drawn, coloured, and printed an actual drawing for the occasion. I know laypeople are ignorant about this stuff, but I still felt my soul leave my body in that moment.
