I have my insomnia and Majima to thank for getting me through. Why Majima? He is now my wife's favourite video game character, and because of that, my wife lets me play in the hope of him appearing.

When they announced this, I challenged myself to play every Yakuza/Like a Dragon game leading up to it, from Zero to Infinite Wealth. I'm currently on Yakuza: Like a Dragon. My partner has the patience of a saint. ๐

I love reading and getting lost in more than my fair share of books, but I also played games. The Final Fantasy series was just phenomenal, and I got lost in the world of VIII. Got back into gaming recently, and it's another level of experience. The Yakuza / Like A Dragon games are brilliant.

I'm British, even I know that the Rep & Dems switched ideologies. I even knew that the Reps changed as the party started to get filled with war profiteers who thought they did enough after pushing through the three Reconstruction Amendments post the Civil War. Trump supporters should read more.

Shame to all those trying to turn the clock back to "stiff upper lip," "keep calm and carry on," and "man up." Those words never prevented a death. They were another thorn in the crown.

I understand that some individuals are misusing the system, and some may have been misdiagnosed, but believe me, a larger proportion are at risk if you do not allow them time, space, and help to get better.

When tabloids and magazines start spinning people's diagnosed anxiety and depression as nonexistent or as insignificant as someone who is stressed because they forgot sunscreen, ask yourself who benefits. Who paid whom to denigrate serious conditions that kill so many people under the age of 50?

We have made so much progress in addressing mental health in the #UK in the last 20 years. I remember talking about depression at university, and it was a novel subject to work on back then. Now men reach out, checking in on people to see how they are doing and feeling, and if they need to talk

The anxieties and #depression associated with caregiving responsibilities, sick family members, & underlying #disabilities are substantial challenges; Work-related stress is secondary; it can be the straw that breaks the camels back, but that doesn't mean the animal wasn't already about to break

Real-world #anxieties are far more intricate than work-related #stress. They are not confined by the constraints of lack of data transfer between applications, or the necessity of developing entirely new systems solely for reporting.

To clarify, we understand the nature of stress. Your implication that my struggles stem from an inability to manage stress is condescending.
Personally, I find fulfillment in tackling challenges, as I'm naturally a problem solver.

In the last month, I have seen a lot of spin put out by #tabloids, but sadly, now even online e-zines such as Vice are outwardly outing people with #mentalhealth issues. We have heard these lines before: "They're misdiagnosed," and "They cannot handle stress."

In 1926, the Nazi salute was made compulsory for all party members.
That salute you did on stage has more history in 20th-century Fascism than in the Roman Empire between 625 BC to its fall in AD 476. You just want to finish what the Jim Crow laws started in 1865.

By autumn 1923, or perhaps as early as 1921, some members of the #Nazi Party were using the rigid, outstretched right arm salute to greet #Hitler, who responded by raising his own right hand crooked back at the elbow, palm opened upwards, in a gesture of acceptance.

In 1919, when he led the occupation of Fiume, d'Annunzio used the style of salute depicted in the film as a neo-Imperialist ritual and the Italian #Fascist party quickly adopted it.

Of special note was the 1914 silent film Cabiria, whose screenplay had contributions from the Italian ultra-nationalist Gabriele d'Annunzio, arguably a forerunner of Italian #Fascism.

A raised arm gesture was used in the 1899 American stage production of Ben-Hur, and its 1907 film adaptation. The gesture was further elaborated upon in several early Italian films.

Love the Like A Dragon series. Not one game has let me down yet. These words have never echoed so loudly.

I won't go into details, but my wife has been an angel. After my last crisis, I am now free of alcohol and painkillers. It's a tough and ongoing learning experience with the help of mental health professionals, I'm trying to look after myself better. I advocate for MS and mental health awareness.

Self-care is a challenge. I met Emz when I was 21; her slow decline meant I didn't realise the number of responsibilities I was taking on. After uni demons I never dealt with appeared. Sadly, the heady mix of responsibilities and not dealing with my issues put me in multiple crisis states.

I read your reply to my wife and she had a huge smile. I think sometimes it's worth sharing our stories because there are many of us, those who went through hell and back because we love the person we care for, and we just got stronger for it. Thank you for sharing.

We really like the social carers on a personal level; we even went so far as to buy them chocolates for Christmas! But my wife, for whom they care, might have a different opinion on the care aspect, so I will mention this to her later. We both agree that they deserve better pay!
