spelt narcissistic wrong, didn't I? Can't blame AutoCorrect.

Yup. Although that's slightly more sophisticated.

The on-street chargers that are currently being installed do not have this facility and it would be nice if we could future proof against this potentially huge inequality by mandating that any chargers installed in future do have this facility. @ed-miliband.bsky.social .

This inequality needs to be recognised and dealt with. Perhaps chargers could contain sensors that recognise a code or a chip in cards issued to residents in nearby blocks of flats or streets or terraces houses. 4/n

I do do not suggest that we don't create more access to on-street chargers, nor do I think we should stick with ICE cars. BUT ... 3/n

Essentially those who are limited to charging their cars via on-street chargers are paying more for their 'fuel' - meaning that less spacious accommodation essentially has higher fuel costs. This acts as a 'tax on the poor, the 'tax going straight to the pockets of the electricity companies.

The BBC report on the Drax power station is far less hyperbolic, doesn't misuse phrases and definitions for emotive effect (and in fact explains them) and is altogether more persuasive and believable. www.bbc.co.uk/news/science...

orchiectomy means 'removing testicles'. It's what you do when you neuter a male cat. This tweet brought to you by the department of 'Oh, I had to look that up as well'.

... and a sturdy tripod.

You'll also probably need a trail camera set up on a sturdy tripod; a camera that can be charged in situ. Sorry. Thinking about the tech now; it's eminently possibly but may not be cost-free. Still, at the end of it, you'll have a great trail camera.

You usually take these shots over the fields from a similar position so I would suggest around there. It doesn't have to be perfect. A year is not such a long time and if it isn't perfect the first year, you can do it again. I would suggest a lens set consistently to wide angle, though.

I think she loves you and the Prof.

Not. Even. Going. There. Someone I loved dearly has, from my point of view, been lost to the culture wars and nothing I can say seems to be able to bring her back to what I consider rationality. It's heartbreaking.

I do love the view beyond your boundaries. You could fix a camera in position and take a daily photograph over a year?

Yes, and no. The culture wars in KH at the moment are such that any adult participating in something like a splash bad would quickly be outed as a nonce, or even worse, anti-motorist.

Modern British cooking combines the best of many and varied global cuisines. You can eat better and more varied food than you can in almost every other country.

Although I think Jinty's suggestion covers it.
