The public meltdown happening between the world’s richest man 🙄 and the President of the United States 🙄🙄 once again begs the age-old question: are men simply too emotional to be in positions of power?

Had 2 planning applications in where the planners had rejected my recommendations which was causing me some stress 😩 one has now been approved after some minor revisions. Hopefully the other can be fixed next week. That will certainly cheer me up a bit.

Out of energy for the day again. Still tonnes of things to sort out. Got food shopping done and finished a fair bit of work so will try to go easy on myself.

I honestly think Husk is going to top himself. Feel bad for him. And who do we think beat him up? 💨? Jack Daniels? Probably one of those Beastie Boy minions huh.

I'm really really tired of having to know about all the ignorant people in this world.

Spent so much time sitting down I feel like I'm decaying.

Lee Jae-myung, the South Korean politician who climbed the fence of the parliament to get inside and vote against martial law, has been elected president. Pretty cooool

A definition of White British which, aside from everything else, includes Gerry Adams but excludes King Charles.

The Police were animals that day in 1985 at what became known as the Battle of the Beanfield - only it wasn’t a battle it was something else entirely - a pre meditated attack of the most extreme violence on a peaceful group of people, sanctioned by the prime minister of the day - Thatcher. 1/2

It never ceases to amaze me, that in a world of such infinite beauty and fascinating complexity, we are living through a time when humans seem to not only be hellbent on destroying the natural world but each other too. One would think they could find something more constructive to do with their time

Been making a lot of mistakes lately because of brain things and it's really knocking my confidence.

Temporarily solved my boredom by nearly burning the dinner and having some potent home made cherry brandy. Mistakes are the most entertaining part of life.

Unfortunately I'm too tired to really be of use to parents this week and spending a lot of time worrying about my own life instead. I've barely moved. 😢

Interesting. Never did like that crossroads. Though mainly because it's now a huge baron road junction with too many traffic queues.

Why am I thinking about ordering a print newspaper subscription when I have so many other financial priorities? Need to get focussed.

Happy Pride to these two

More ridiculous comments on 'how DARE educational establishments provide ppl with useful skills'. Smh

Since my parents can no longer renovate their house they're expecting me to do it 😂😂😂 not realising that I now have my own age related health issues.

The first woman to be an FBI special agent was Alaska P Davidson in 1922. J Edgar Hoover requested her resignation, along with her colleagues Jessie Duckstein and Lenore Houston, in 1924. The FBI did not appoint another woman as a Special Agent until Hoover died.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that part of the reason orange was used for street lights is that we have night vision in orange and red light and it does not cause our pupils to contract as much. I don't object to LED ones but they should be the same colour as before

Had to watch the whole of The Confession last night because I knew I wouldn't get time to watch it some other day.

Feeling a bit flat again that I never found my tribe. Seems so difficult to find people who are genuine instead of full of false niceties.

Really weird takes on this. We're in dire need of people with more practical skills, as anyone who's tried to hire ppl with practical skills must realise. What's so precious about university education specifically?

This is why everything is so expensive. The wheeling and dealing of the super rich. Get everyone in the saucepan of dependency then turn up the heat. Get rid of it.

I like how a lot of the green squares in London still have locked gates to keep out the riffraff

What is it with ppl saying '50/62/75/90 isn't old' it's bloody old. 50 was old when I was 20 and it's old now I'm 40. We get old. Welcome to life.

Have my sights set on a starlink mini which could be really useful for site surveys in deepest darkest wales. Conflicted.

Having some pretty bad short term memory deterioration. It's actually scaring me a little bit. So so strange.

Would really like a mechanical clock for the sheer genius of the invention only I hate clocks. In my mind every tick represents my remaining heartbeats, gradually running out, and every chime is an hour used ineffectually.

The fear of uncertainty and aversion to risk taking concentrated in social media is almost making me miss the Boris era. Are there any nice people who actually like taking risks every now and then?
