This treatment of a US Senator is unacceptable. If they treat a sitting US Senator in his home state this way, how are they treating innocent people apprehended at their workplaces, homes, schools, and churches?

That’s the definition of assault. And I believe assault on a sitting senator is an even higher charge. There was no reason for them to react that way, even if he was just a member of the public. Fear has this administration lashing out in advance.

In the same week TVCA sent five staff members to SXSW in Texas at a cost of £18k. They were able to share information of meetings with potential investors and development agencies in the US.
No such information was forthcoming for the trip to Cannes.

This was TVCA's stand at MIPIM in March.
It cost €8,500 to hire.
Travel and accommodation for two staff for the conference cost taxpayers over £5,500.
Those staff held no meetings while they were there.

I had the pleasure of meeting Sangita last summer- she happened to stop in at a bar where I was working. What an absolutely delightful, humble, pleasant person. We had a fascinating conversation which left me in no doubt that she's been treated extremely badly by LBC.
