Gaming stocks are at all time highs. Things have NEVER BEEN BETTER FOR THEM. All while they are letting people go and complaining that they need to increase prices and that it takes ten years to make a game. The narrative isn’t true. Don’t defend the industry or believe their lies.

So then the claims that the videogame industry is bigger than Hollywood and music (combined) must be exaggerated? Or, more likely, publishers and developers are making bad investments into projects with insufficient returns. We had 3 Final Fantasy’s on PS1 and PS2. Now it’s a service.

We have already have PC’s. I have SteamOS installed on my PC and it works perfectly well. Controllers, multiple stores, emulation. I can play Bloodborne at 60Hz / UHD. Whatever PC Microsoft launches and calls an Xbox it’s going to be hard to beat this.

I’ve been having so much fun with Xemu and Xenia! These reverse engineered emulators are great. Bringing back tons of nostalgia. They’re not perfect, some games can be a bit finicky, but they run impressively well. Work great on Steam Deck too!

Yes. Thank-you for so many years of fun. My dad introduced me to the Xbox 360 and ever since we’ve bonded over our favorite games. Will miss the Xbox as we move to Windows gaming… but the memories will always be with me!

I use both. They both have problems. But they each have strengths. On X there’s more people and more fulsome discussions. On BS it’s more tame and chill (unless you mention T or M)

I guess there’s fomo but generally waiting is better. Without games it’s just e-waste. When a solid exclusive RPG or Zelda game comes out I’ll look into it. My Switch and Steam Deck are carrying the load for now.
