Many intelligent people issued many legitimate warnings. They were ignored. and now my American friends, far too little, much too late mid-terms. as if.

baffles me how, at federal, provincial, & municipal levels of government, wastewater testing for viral/communicable diseases - & - associated actions, would not pay for itself over & over in terms of disease prevention (so, both ethically/socioeconomically). It's a crime not to use a tool like this.

just a little 'meddling'. no biggie eh?

so disappointing! worked in a program that, d/t expense & quality of care, eliminated agency nursing & created a float pool. All were hospital employees w diff nursing designations (& allied health too) who were deployed for long/short term coverage. was challenging but accomplished! what happened?

agree. cautiously. at this point in time, he is the best we've got, because the alternatives are not.

Should add, might be hard to focus on this, while watching the US completely obliterate world markets (and so, so much more). 🧨πŸ’₯🫣

Thanks! and not looking to cause more work for you! ;-) but was curious. I do like this measure - it's my go-to 'at a glance' measure (even from Hamilton, it's more meaningful that anything that is still tracked here 😞). Thanks again!!

Hi Tyson. Thanks so much for continuing this wastewater work! Quick question re your incidence estimates. It's sitting at 2.5% of Ottawans here - what is the lowest % you have found since you started calculating this metric? Thank you!

one of the most depressing aspects of this whole mess, in a trending kind of way. it keeps getting worse, more obvious, as I become more desperate in holding out for some sign of integrity, backbone. nope. I just didn't know... 😞

same energy as my: measure once, cut twice works like a charm.

ha. and. still baffled (should not be) to hear Jake Tapper say 'within the realm of normalcy'. Kinda seems like it's all over but the crying.

and just thinking. huh. Mr Vo used the word 'retreat'. which infers there was a battle. Not just another day at 'the people's house'. such bullshit.

yes please. asap. & wouldn't mind if he jumped queue. Kudos to article author. Insanity of this came through loud & clear. fav part though "police had retreated, he said, allowing him and others to freely enter the building". Yeah, reason police retreated was death/grievous injury inflicted by mob.

True. And even more reliable metric (& one closer to home) is watching number of outbreaks affecting people who are in LTC, hospitals, retirement homes, communal living settings. Yes, that's right, for our most reliable metric, we use most vulnerable people in society. But hey, whaddya going to do?

and one other thing while I'm here ;-) PMJT's speech last night, stated (emotionally) how it's a privilege for him to serve. Makes it sound like was all about him. It's not about him, it's about us, the people of Canada and many don't feel he's serving us. making it easy for the likes of Poilievre.
