He is sweating like he's standing on the equator, not in a plane. Very strange.

So, JD has another thing in common with Trump: zero knowledge of broad US history, hidden behind a selective understanding of events they obviously didn't learn about at school. Here's the history: jyllands-posten.dk/indland/ECE1...

In Australia, we just call him an effing loser.

Yes, of course, because Aryan dreams include blonde hair.

Hang on, does this microscopic wonder mean they're expecting an immaculate conception? No Bethlehem or donkeys or inns? Elon knows about IVF. He might be able to advise. Macroscopically, it's still delusional nonsense.

Bendigo or NAB. I chair a small charity that had $200k CBA share portfolio when I came along. It had lost $23k in 6 yrs. Met rude disinterested staff when I queried some things. Put all into Fixed Terms with Bendigo, making more, easy to manage, great app. Swapped my own banking to them & National.

Isn't it fascinating how so many criminals are in orange?

One of my closest friends is Turkish by birth. Apart from her commitment to women's rights (which is shared by her Turkish born husband) she is usually the most unpolitical person I know. We don't know the story behind Rumeysa but this news has stunned & scared my friend & her daughters. Let's hope.

Gosh, they look nothing like anything operational at all, do they? What if we substituted something like, oh, I don't know: a major vehicle retailer for Houthi on each mention? They might think it was operational then.

This made me laugh myself silly 🤣

Thank you! I've been at meetings on and off all day today. I left home at 715am so I couldn't set this up myself. It's 8.15pm in WA & I'm home & exhausted but this has made my day

This is witchcraft. I thought the States had rules about that.

I think we need a very, very big petition. Other convicted criminals can't get in. This one is against many of the privileges of an equitable society that we hold dear & have fought for. The people don't want him or his lackeys here. Who's going to start it?

I can't help thinking about all of the work that went into deciphering Enigma codes in WW2 when all they had to do was listen in on Nazi chat. Oh. They did.

I remember my dad and just about every farmer in WA shooting these beautiful creatures. There's a pair living near a lake on the road I travel to the coast. I look for them every day. Gorgeous 😍

My snowbird friends sold their cabin in the States months ago & refuse to set foot over the border. They've become full time Canadians again.

Being as my work involves seeing statistics in this area as well as the outcomes of violence, I'm not surprised.

I have a 1st cousin in Texas who carries & a 2nd cousin in Florida who's in her late 70s & doesn't leave home without her hot pink gun. She has three. Different world. Dad's brothers were competition shooters, so we grew up used to them, taught to shoot from young. My kids have never touched one.

I wonder if being called a Nazi might make him stop for a minute & think about what he's become. I'm sure it would stop the everyday person of Jewish descent.

He talked about his mother in law, Geri Lambert. She lives in his mansion. I can't imagine she goes hungry without her pension. I also doubt she cleans, cooks or does laundry. There are people to do that. She may not even know what it is to feel old & worn out. There are people to fix that too.

Wow. Crossbows are legal in Qld here. You might get a permit in West Aust for archery comps, but only a few do that. Grenades? 😆 We can't even have fireworks! Howitzers?? That would take the fun out of shooting bunnies 😂 I used to sport-shoot but no more. Most ppl here have never held a weapon.

Yes, but I've seen my brother mess up a few feral pigs without one. Anything with a magazine can do damage faster than the average pig - or human - can run. Farmers need guns, then there's sport. I've no issue with hunting feral animals. But, most male suicides here are by gun. Unsure of solution.

I'm going to have to start learning the language, or at least the swearing part 😅

Ta. I can't go anywhere before September because of work, so we'll just wait and see.

Leopards don't change their spots, especially when they've got a private army behind them who have learned from experience to ensure nothing gets out that would be a bad look.

My daughter's been too & I also have family there. Until about 8yrs ago, I was still planning a retirement trip to see old family homes & do Canada but no more.

I never came here for followers, just news. I don't know why some people follow me, but I hope it's because I'm the sort of person they think would sit down for a coffee with them & we'd still be talking 3 hrs later. I follow others because of their content & perspective. I don't follow everyone.

Australia also has guns. I'd like to say we've never had a school shooting, but we nearly did last year. 15yo took dad's guns to school. He got 3 yrs in juvenile detention. I'm assuming dad no longer has guns. Can't help wondering where a kid got an idea like that from. www.bbc.com/news/world-a...

I'm a pacifist. I would marched over & lectured them so aggressively that I would have won an international prize for Scariest Senior Citizen of the Century. OK, my definition of pacifist might not agree with some 😂

It looks like some were doing Nazi salutes. Do you think they were mocking or mimicking in approval? Can't get context from a photo.
comment in response to post
Of course they were. There are Republicans in my US family who live decent, honest lives & were appalled by this. Of course, they can't see that they helped enable it.

And most of us had them connected to answering machines & you'd come in & sigh because you had to work through them & half were from your parents. This is why mine is still connected. Mum never worked out how to send texts. Her last phone message is still on the machine ❤️

It's sad. Drug abuse is a part of life today & the families of those affected live with grief & fear & hope every day. Seeing your affected child exposed to the world in this way just adds layers to the pain. I hope she's OK. I hope he goes to Mars & never comes back.

If I had a billion $ to spare, I'd buy the stock just so I could be the person with more than Elon & could kick him off the board & then I would quite happily go back to being poor & boring 😊

He didn't need it: eugenics was global before Trump was born. The White Australia movement drew on established & growing sentiment overseas.

I don't think you could do anything to persuade this cult. Trump is their Jim Jones & they'll obey even when they've retreated to their underground hideouts & set the booby traps.
