Keir's now talking about all the nice things the tech sector have built in Somerstown (his constituency, my London home) and it's all a bit "wait, there's a Google Aİ Campus? Near Costcutter?!?!?"

Our fifth talk for #DoctorWho #TargetBookClub is by @alxhwtt.bsky.social and is a quest for a text so lost, it's only in the British Library, and even then, they're having trouble.
Expect tumultuous buffeting on Saturday July 19th at the Abbey Centre Westminster. Tickets bit.ly/escape2danger

İ remember doing maths for my first book and realising that 6 weeks to write 50k was 2,000 words a day after day job with a week to tidy up before handing in. Not impossible, not great, but survivable, and you could still go out some nights.
Two weeks though is a SLOG. I salute.

THİS.
At the time I thought six weeks for a Torchwood book was a challenge. İt was actually... reasonable.
it also means I narrow my eyes at audio authors who somehow stwuggle to deliver 9,000 words in 2 months....
Still, two weeks is AMAZİNG.

I dunno, 2 million people are starving to death in Gaza but we've still got time for North London opinion pieces persecuting a vulnerable minority for hypotheticals. Hey ho.

My mother (who still hasn't come to terms with me being gay) said of their trans neighbour "She says her name's Arthur so that's what we'll call him".
Boom.

The sheer luxury of going through an airport Narnia cupboard that skips a kilometer walk and security in favour of a bored guy who does everything for you then shows you to the gate
