Hmm, I forgot to name it in the post! It's Physocarpus opulifolius ‘Lady in Red.’

Thank you. The pink Oxalis near the path seems to have gone a bit mad this year. It may need some careful 'editing' later in the year.

Iris ‘Silver Edge’ is a beauty. Mixed up bulb orders seem to happen quite a bit these days - still, a yellow Dutch Iris is always a lovely thing. Curious to know what the pink variety would have looked like though.

Evening all. Probaby the best the garden has looked tulip-wise was last spring in my small garden's Big Border #GardensHour 🌱

Your garden is looking a show. ‘Southern Charm' is a beauty - I'll have to look that Verbascum up. Enjoy your break.

Best to quiz surviving older family members first (taking any claims of royal descent with a pinch of salt initially), then birth, marriage & death certificates (back to 1837), census returns from 1921 back to 1851 (for parish & age/year of birth) & then baptism, marriage & burial registers)

This one was planted as a corm last autumn and I planted some more corms in the spring. I haven't thought what to do with them come the winter. I'l have to do some research.

Evening all. I tend to grow a few tomatoes & herbs in pots. For the past few years I've also been growing runner beans up the fence & accidentally up shrubs (this was a self-seeded one!) #GardensHour 🌱

A lovely section. Chatting with Adam Frost must have been exciting. He seems a nice, down to earth chap.
