I wish I could find the name of it but when I was in grad school in London in *2009* I had my first Turkish barber experience somewhere on Liverpool Street south of the Tower 42 construction site. Extremely civilized, was given a Turkish coffee, fond memories!

If the alternatives are market-rate housing or no housing, there's a clear winner there. And no, they should have much less parking! If we're ever going to take our cities back from cars that's the only way to start. Not to mention that the housing then becomes much less expensive to build.
