Oh he’s got great video tutorials that go with a lot of his patterns, especially the MKAL shawls. I’ve learned so much from him…in particular how to let go of perfection if I make a mistake. He’s made me a far more relaxed knitter.

Soooo pretty! It reminds me of the northern lights sans purple 😍

Oh that will be the perfect time to work on all the stockinette! I had the knitting doldrums most of this year, but started knitting again in October. Now I start planning the next project while knitting on the current one…afraid I can’t stop 😂

It’s gorgeous! Love your colors 💙 and your knitting is perfection! I queued that sweater in March 2020 but still haven’t CO….

Definitely perfect tv knitting!

Beautiful knitting and the color is gorgeous! I need to find the one I started months ago and work on it again. Barely had anything knit on it except maybe 3 inches, if that 😂.

Congratulations!! What a great reason to pick up the needles again 💚

It’s gorgeous, and I love the way you have it styled! Did you sew the button in place?

I love yours, too!

Thank you! I knit one for my grandson for Christmas and decided I also needed one :)

Beautiful stitching! What pattern are you using?

Is that an On the Dot cowl? I just made the scarf version for my grandson!

What an awesome gift! My grandmother had a knitting bag very similar to that except a bit larger. Seeing yours brought back lots of great memories.

That’s a very common issue with provisional CO’s that Techknitter’s article explains really well. Her blog is a wealth of information on all manner of knitting: techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/01/knit...

You’re making me regret not partaking of this years Hiberknitalong. Yours is gorgeous!

That book was so helpful to me, too, when I started knitting. It has great diagrams and explanations.

Thank you so much!

You’re welcome! Yes, they are very simple patterns…not at all difficult. I highly recommend both of them. If you make the hat, I’d recommend starting with a provisional CO because it’s easier for the double brim when knitting them together. If you get stuck I’m happy to help!

From this shop on Etsy. Prices were super reasonable. They did a great job with them! www.etsy.com/shop/CutpieS...

Ohhh I recognize that bag! A Project 10 arrived a few days ago…it’s the most functional bag I’ve ever used.

Oh my word, that is one gorgeous piece of furniture!

I immediately clicked on the Rav link to favorite it. Not only is it already in my favs, but also in my library 🤦‍♀️. Please tell me I’m not the only one that does this. My memory sure isn’t what it used to be!

Oh it is beautiful!! I love the versatile colors, and the beads really elevate it.

I’ll admit I did a double take when scrolling through the knitting feed 😂. Looks great pinned out though!

Oh I bet it will be gorgeous with beads instead of nups. Please post a pic when you finish it!

I just finished knitting my grandson a scarf using Scholar. I’m always amazed at the transformation of this base once it is blocked.

I’ve not knit this, so take my input with a grain of salt. But I wonder if the provisional CO saves you from picking up stitches later? I was perusing some of the projects and at least one person mentioned this when referencing they forgot to use provisional CO on the 2nd half.

👋 Hello! I’m not great at sharing knitting projects because my photography skills are, um, lacking. But I am great at cheering on other knitters!

The best needles I’ve ever used/owned are Dyakcraft. Both their Darn Pretty wood line and their Black Nickle metals. And the owners are true blue 💙
