Yes to this! I believe that books educate people. The library provides free books that educate us on so many topics. And, libraries provide so much more than books! They teach people to read and write, provide computers for those that don’t have access to them, they have story times for the young.

There really wasn’t many banned books when I worked at the library. I’m shocked by these crazy banning books parents. But, they just want to control their children’s minds and don’t want them to flourish and think for themselves and become independent.

It’s absolutely hard to uproot your life. I’ve been wanting to for decades. I’ve always wanted to live in the state I was born in, Oregon. It’s absolutely beautiful. But, my grandchildren don’t live there. They’re in San Diego where I live. So, I understand.
