Nuno, I initially created a site and admin system in Vue 3, but constant revisions and tweaks are a nightmare. Just finishing switching to Filament. An absolute Godsend! All changes in PHP can be done/uploaded straight away. (Obviously shows a lack of structure & procedures on my part, admittedly)

It'll be a month or two before I have time to do it, but when I get back around, I will have a look at the install script, before I just go through the installation pages manually (it's the only time I get to play with some of the more core commands that set the system up.

Cool - I must admit, I'm a sucker for punishment though. I actually LIKE to follow the install page instructions... then the General Recommendations. It gives me a chance to try and learn more about some of the commands as I use along the way.

Fedora - cool! I used to really enjoy using Fedora. I think that was the last DE I used before I switched to Arch

Sorry for the late reply. I'd not heard of RebornOS (until now) I can' wait to move back to regular Arch as I just feel like I had more control. It's just getting the time to do it.

It's usually Arch, but I needed a quick DE after a big crash. I'll be moving back to Arch as soon as I have time to go through a full install.
Thanks for asking ;-)

I agree - a tough decision. But as a Father who teaches my Son that if you see something wrong - you can't just stand by, I too think it's the correct one.

An android tablet & phone. Both of which I have to fix every few days after she's gone into the settings. I'm not an Apple devices fan, but she's a prime candidate for them, then she wouldn't be able to tinker as much.

A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing! I'm the technical support for a Mother-in-Law that loves the settings pages of all her apps etc. She has no idea what she's doing & I greatly enjoy the day I managed to talk her into giving up her Windows PC. She turned it on daily just to update it!

That's a very good question, Edward - I personally don't, but I am aware that it also comes with risks. I just try to make sure that the firewall (UFW) is doing what it's supposed to do and the network is set up properly.
