Parties that focus on Law and Order issues seem surprised that laws also apply to them

Some seriously successful partnerships there. Hence the question, most V/AFL premierships as teammates? Guessing Harry and Albert Collier would be up there?

In its early decades the VFL always made a distribution to charities along with distrusting revenue back to clubs. I wonder if, as a % of total revenue, were they more generous then that what, if any, donations the AFL makes to charities now? But absolutely time for AFL/NRL to stop being NFP

Always been puzzled by the common expression "the precipice of success". However given the Collins dictionary says "If you say that someone is on the edge of a precipice, you mean that they are in a dangerous situation in which they are extremely close to disaster or failure. Maybe Vozzo is right😀

I think the answer to which football club is the right one would, in every situation and circumstance, be Richmond. Happy to provide a detailed analysis but I think the premise stands in its own right

The 80th year docco that had the then league club presidents re-enacting the original meeting to create the VFL? That would be great find! If I recall the VFL made a song and dance about its 80th anniversary to counter the VFA centenary? But could be a mistaken recollection.

Can highly recommend Andrew's book. One of the more entertaining and informative books on Australian football. Would make a great Christmas gift for a friend or yourself!

PS it would also raise more money, which in 1940 would go to Patriotic Funds. But the proposal did not get up.
