close tax loopholes for the superrich, we will have plenty to pay for education&research&teachers, and roads for our nation

America's greatness was built on attracting the world's brightest minds, one year stagnation in research & education will decimate our talent pool. Why can't our GOP see that our adversaries are fiercely competing for top talent - Harvard students? Why is he handing our best of best to adversaries?

If the Congress awarded the grant, it’s not here to give to a trade school. But why not leave that money alone and given an additional 3 billion to trade schools.

How is it that he can rescind funding previously appropriated by congress for a specific purpose? How is that even a thing?
comment in response to post
Isn't doing that illegal, since Congress has already allocated the funds. Not that this president is afraid to break the law repeatedly.

That explains👍

Let me get this straight — Harvard’s corrupt and dangerous, but still good enough for his favorite son-in-law? Got it.

Supporting trade schools is good, but not at the expense of scientific research. It's not a zero-sum game. Both are worthwhile investments.

They know the history. America’s greatness, forged by global talent, education, and innovation, is at risk. We are handing our competitive edge to China and Russia. They need to act now-stop undermining our elite universities education and research, or we will lose America’s strength.

One vote in one day and it’s all over. Quit hanging stupid stuff on Dems; it’s the GOP that’s the problem.

Harvard should file a restraining order from the trump administration for harassment! The president of the United States is harassing one Americas prestigious universities to deflect from his terrible tax BILL he's planning on screwing us with!

Why those folks wear masks, sunglasses & gloves. And they refuse to identify themselves & display badges, when arresting people. Are they American—or Russian?

still couldn’t believe this is real

All funding for America's top universities will be frozen in order to help Russian universities catch up.

I couldn't understand Pete Hegseth's reasoning for ordering Cyber Command to stop all operations against Russia. Can someone explain why he made that decision?

Harvard has taken the LONG & DIFFICULT fight to TRUMP. Harvard does need our support. They learned from Columbia Univ that you can’t appease an Autocratic Dictator like Trump. NEVER BEND THE KNEE! We have too many institutions taking the knee. WE THE PEOPLE MUST STAND TOGETHER or HANG SEPARATELY!

Much respect for Harvard! We need to back them up any way we can.

All fucking bullshit. There is no list of 70 countries. Instead, it was all about stock manipulation. Trump and his oligarchs tanked the markets to make stocks cheaper. Now that Trump proclaimed a "pause", the markets thus went up. Guess who made more money?

Since our president spends $70,000 on his own hairstyle and over $95,000 on his daughter’s, without paying income taxes, why must those earning less than $95,000 still pay taxes?

They have the wealth. So tax the wealth. We need to organize and mobilize our real numbers against their digital numbers. They've grown too rich. Inequality is too high. Our fight needs to tax them more and supply universal basic income to make sure the bottom 90% benefits. It's overdue restitution.

Can Harris do that for all the swing states?

California has tighter rules, like $32,400 caps per candidate-if only this applied at the federal level. The Citizens United v. FEC decision on Jan 21, 2010, wasn't a smart move. While we support free speech, using massive funding to influence others' voting choices is not free speech; it's bribery.

It's unlikely to change, as billionaires fund elections, making the national administration work for their interests. Unless we implement donation limits or phase out private donations in exchange of government-funded campaigns, nothing will change.

That’s a blow—because I mentioned the name DOGE? I wasn’t pushing a Trump agenda, just wondering why they didn’t start with a solid plan since they sold it big. The Dems lost all three branches last year for a reason. Just trying to figure it out like the rest of us.

What made you say that? I asked a question because I'm scratching my head over the chaos out there, and wondering why they didn’t follow a logical order—the same order that well-trained General Inspectors have been using for years, a practice that has proven to be successful.
