I’m a gay guy living Denver. I’m interested in politics and news. Really anything different. There is too banality in the media today.

While I agree with you, Americans have a particular view of what a home should be. We really have to change what everyone wants out of a home. Also high density housing costs a lot more to build. It’s a big challenge we need to take head on.

When individuals in the government act criminally, they have to be prosecuted. Or is “I was just following orders going to be fine?” Of course that assumes we don’t lose our democracy.

In the US prison is a business. They have no interest in rehabilitation. Filling cells makes more money. It’s perverse. Privatization of government functions is often dangerous. That’s often what shrinking government is about.

DOGE is going to end up costing tax payers more money than saves in the long run. Hopefully someone is investigating how much Elon is making off this and whether Trump is as well. They are calling this $2 billion savings but it will likely get paid at some point.

Carl Icahn is a shitty business person too. But they make money for themselves at everyone’s expense. Beware the business person that ONLY cares about money.
