Yes, I'm also on a couple of genocide supporter lists--I assume because I supported Kamala. I'm also on a list of Stupid Accounts, which makes me smile.

You might want to look at an Aventon short rack. It's smaller than most, tho still heavy. Has some nice security built in. Good range. With rear rack, panniers, & front basket, there's decent cargo capacity. Affordable & has the advantage of local dealerships. www.outdoorgearlab.com/reviews/biki...

I've a friend with a cargo ebike; they use a Kryptonite New York cinch ring 1275 lock & a motion detector alarm. The problem with cargo ebikes is they attract a more dedicated thief. They're stolen with resale in mind. Anything you can do to make it harder to resale (esp. locally) is good.

I did a Bloomsday reading/pub crawl in NYC a couple decades ago. It was great fun. Mostly.

There's a Japanese word that means "post-punk, with a trippy dreamlike blur of sound, all of it indicating an acceptance of sadness with a sense that there's broken bits of beauty waiting beneath it all." Sadly, no shoegaze, though. SO close.

Totally fucking quantum, and I defy anybody to deny it.

I don't think it's mysterious. It's just the nature of process. Any process--a series of stages of moments, each of which is influenced by what came before and each influences what comes after. It can be unpredictable & surprising, but that's...well, to be expected. I guess. Wait...

"a work gains a life of it's own" I've known the ending of every story I've written BEFORE I started writing it. It's easier to write TOWARD something. That said, I've never ended a story with the ending I'd originally planned.

Before I shifted to Ricoh GR, I'd see light like this and wish I'd brought my camera bag. Now I can just pull the GR out of my pocket. This is absolutely delicious light.

I just got back from for days on the road and I'm exhausted. But yeah, I'll get up on the morning and drag sorry ass to the local No Kings event. Then come home and collapse. I'll do some shouting for you.

What a massive waste of the court's time and resources, all in regard to an elected official saying he'll follow the law.
