That's needed to happen for decades.

"The researchers used a mathematical formula to calculate the total effect of a weather event in terms of severity measured by the total area affected, the duration of the event and how wet or dry it was." "...last year’s figures reaching twice that of the 2003-2020 average."

Was the person driving speeding while running a red light? #VisionZero

There's a reason I'll never use any of San Diego's unprotected bike lanes along the functional equivalent of a highway. Unprotected high speed mergers are nothing short of incredibly negligent. #VisionZero

Could we close even one street to cars in San Diego, starting with Balboa Park?

The bike lane gap on southbound Park at Meade has finally been closed.

Bike lanes are good for emergency vehicle access.

Californians will select their own elected officials and at the statewide level it will never be the Trump fuckwits. The Trump invasion needs to end.

Bike racks are good, but not when their only purpose is to prevent free speech.

Los Angeles County Sheriff wants a cut of the fascist thuggery.

The #NoKings protest in downtown San Diego is massive.

Fuck this evil Trump fascist dictatorship. We will make this a long hot summer for that murderous scumbag.

"So far, the Police Department’s parking enforcement division has focused only on downtown and other areas with meters. They said this winter that they had no plans for proactive enforcement in the many residential parts of the city where parking officers don’t typically patrol."

Walking is free. But if it's too far or unpleasant, I'm not going to walk. The main reason I don't make certain trips by transit is due to lack of frequency or hours of service not being long enough. It's never due to the fare. Making it fare-free doesn't change anything.

Stuck in gridlock on the 215 because #SanDiego refuses to put bus lanes on Park in downtown. Even Caltrans added bus lanes on their bridge over the 5. But south of the 5, it’s just another FU by the city to people riding buses.

Using the e-bike on midday Friday to transport 60 pounds of cat litter. Using the e-bike was a great way to avoid all of the car congestion in Hillcrest.

Always #resist evil.

"Councilmember Marni von Wilpert warned such closures could lead to another hepatitis outbreak like the one the county experienced between 2016 and 2018, killing 20 people." “If you don’t have (public) bathrooms, the whole city becomes a bathroom,” she said.

If that's true, shouldn't we expect to see some elected officials using those lanes to confirm that claim is true? If cars are traveling at speeds fast enough to kill me, a concrete barrier is the minimum necessary protection.

“At this time, NCTD does not anticipate that the improvement project will result in any impacts to passenger rail operations through the area,” Dover said.

This is brilliant! While Balboa Park is already pretty good for cars, it could be so much better.

Why should a green be extended indefinitely for people in cars when people walking are waiting to cross the street? It's not like a walk signal is ever extended for people that are walking.

The hazards I encounter while traveling around San Diego are almost entirely due to cars with cars a bigger hazard than any other. Any safety incidents on buses have been entirely due to cars.

Where are all of these green screens about which Nutlick lies? He’s obviously never been in a NWS office.

The lies never stop with this regime. Also, the training portal for the DOC (including NOAA and the NWS) went offline at the end of May because he couldn't be bothered to sign the necessary contract.
