“The person I’m interested in [observing at OTAs] is Jacob Cowing. He has a real opportunity to step up and be that X-factor for the 49ers offense until Brandon Aiyuk comes back.” -Tracy Sandler joined us on "Papa & Silver" on KNBR ahead of day three of 49ers OTAs

68 wins in the regular season Going on 12 wins in the postseason OKC has earned this finals appearance, and now they’re four wins away from earning a Larry O’Brien trophy

That was... __________ Well, I'll let you fill in the blank. Dial it up, 415-808-5627 and let's talk Giants getting swept in Detroit Talk to you shortly on @KNBR

Landen Roupp is cooking right now with 6 strikeouts for the Giants' first 8 outs and first 10 hitters faced

Since Wilmer Flores' 3 HR, 8 RBI game on May 16, the Giants have amassed just 21 runs over 10 games. However, due to their pitching, they've also gone 5-5 in that stretch.

KAT is looking like an alpha on this run

Asked Valkyries head coach Natalie Nakase about her focal points between Friday’s opener and tonight. “Attention to detail” was stressed at practice, while she also understood the distraction of playing in front of 18,000 Golden State fans for the first time last week.

Game 6 Klay Down 0-2 Kawhi Bubble Jamal Murray Whoever’s on your list of all-time greats, 2025 postseason Julius Randle would like to join the club

What do Giants fans want to see from Hayden Birdsong in his first start of 2025?

“The Warriors’ fix is easier than you think. They don’t have the financial capital to sign a big name, but the guy I see is Luke Kornet from the Celtics.” -@MarcJSpears tells us on @KNBR that what the Warriors miss the most right now is the Andrew Bogut presence / shot blocking

“Lamonte Wade Jr.'s numbers haven’t been as good as anyone would want them to be, but the at-bats have been competitive. When he gets going, it’ll be a huge candle lit for this offense.” -George Kontos tells on KNBR that he's not quitting on the Giants 1B after a slow start

The Alex Caruso-Josh Giddey trade is another reminder that sometimes it's okay to trade higher draft picks with higher ceilings for role players that can improve the overall team in the present.

“This is why people come to the Bay Area. Magic happens here at Chase Center.” -Valkyries guard Julie Vanloo on getting wanting to bring the home crowd to life before her 3rd quarter flurry

A cool sight here at Chase Center. Despite the 84-67 loss, the Valkyries get a standing ovation from the sold out crowd of 18,064 fans, which marks the highest attendance by any WNBA franchise in its debut.

Julie Vanloo gives the Valkyries crowd its first true mid-game explosion, with back-to-back heat check threes. And as I’m typing this, she just hit a third.

The Boston Celtics will be the 6th straight defending NBA champion to not reach the conference finals the following season. Sustained winning is hard, injury luck can play a major role in it.

All ready to go for their debut. Golden State Valkyries era starts now.

The moment we got the news of Brock Purdy’s extension on ⁦‪KNBR‬⁩. Naturally, it happened about 20 seconds before we signed off for the week 😅

Steve Kerr at his season-ending press conference stressed the need to have or find a center heading into next season, and says playing Draymond significant minutes at the 5 over the course of a season and playoffs is not sustainable.

Who's ready to see the @wgoldenstate.bsky.social take the floor?

The Warriors aren't going down without a fight, but the best player on the floor is still wearing dark blue, and that never won't matter in the postseason

It was going to be a hard fought series with both teams at full-strength, but we don't like in a world of hypotheticals, and the Timberwolves have simply been the better, stronger, more energized team in this series and used the circumstances to their favor. They're deserve their credit too.

Julius Randle got Steph shaking his head from the bench right now

Julius Randle is playing some big boy ball

The welcome sights for the Warriors in the first quarter: high energy, Podz hits two threes, Kuminga scores 9 off the bench. The unwelcome sights: TJD on Randle = not great, and the Wolves don't seem to be messing around.

Whether it's the last one of the season, or the season gets extended to Sunday, I'll catch you after the game on "Dubs OT" Join the conversation below! www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtEU...

Christian Koss first major league home run is a grand slam. What a moment for what’s already been a great story.

Playoff injuries, and bad playoff injuries, are the absolute worst. Best wishes to Jayson Tatum in his recovery.

"I think Steph might try to push to play Game 5. He can see ring number five. It's on the table this year, but I don't know how Rick Celebrini allows it. It's too delicate. Too tricky." [email protected] shares his thoughts with us on KNBR about an unlikely Steph return tomorrow.

Looks like Game 3 was the one to get for the Warriors. Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle have been something else this series.

Third quarter has sucked the life out of Chase Center, with Minnesota on fire from deep and Warriors struggling to take care of the ball.

I might be one of the few to say it but Looney has had a damn good first half

I cannot remember Julius Randle having as close to as good of a postseason game as he did on Saturday, but he’s picking up right where he left off. The Warriors have no answers for him.

Completely different Draymond Green so far tonight. Kuminga once again effective off the bench.

Kuminga to GPII at the end of the quarter was giving shades of Carson Wentz to Nelson Agholor 2018

Draymond coming out the gate looking to set a tone early

Don’t bother with the Giannis offseason trade talks. Bucks know they can just trade him mid-season next year and get the #1 pick in return 😱

WOWWWW

Injury report wasn't kind to the Warriors in May OUT: Steph Curry IN: Scott Foster (Wolves ramped it up in the 4th and deserve their credit too)

The season isn't over, but that felt like a prime opportunity to get one and buy Steph time...

Warriors lead 82-81 with 6:49 left. Butler and Kuminga have combined for 57 points to this point. Edwards and Randle have a combined 50 for the Wolves. If the Warriors want to buy time for a potential Steph return...this is turning into one they have to get

That left corner has some serious magic at Chase Center right now....

The best thing Jonathan Kuminga has done tonight has been not being afraid to shoot, because in that first quarter nobody wanted to put up a shot until he provided that spark

No way this challenge doesn't get overturned

Despite the slow start, the Warriors defense has showed up in major ways and kept them afloat with a 42-40 halftime lead. Strong showings so far from Kuminga, Looney, and a far more aggressive Jimmy Butler, who leads all scorers with 18.
