Unfortunately, for someone to feel guilt and shame they must first have a conscience. If these raids have shown me anything, it's that the people doing them clearly don't have one.

This is from the alternate timeline where The Professor is Chris Hemsworth.

Me, putting Sneak Attack into the same deck:

What data did he use to determine the new CDC guidelines for the COVID vaccine? What data did he use to make the decision to stop using fluoride in drinking water? Is he still planning on sending autistic people to work camps?

A person needs a conscience first if they are to feel shame and guilt for their actions.

I'd feed him his teeth.

As a follow up to this: I realized something else. Incubate makes artifact creatures. 😈 Is Cid a secret Phyrexian?

Ohhhh the Splicers are a fantastic idea! I hadn't considered them. Thanks for that! (I also know who to blame when my play group ends up on the receiving end of this 😆)

I'm really looking forward to brewing Cid. Right now I'm looking at ~20-22 copies in Shorikai (running as the face commander) and running Astral Drift/Slide. Just need the one Cid in play and, if I can pilot Shorikai, maybe get in some commander kills with it.

I'm sure Chuck has another strongly worded letter getting prepped as we speak.

Because fascists lack empathy. Ironically that's why they inevitably lose when faced with real opposition. They can't imagine what their enemies will do and, thus, can't plan for it. They go in believing that sheer brute force will win the day and it might from time to time. But it never wins wars.

Also because we didn't hang every traitor who served in the confederacy. In fact, we let a lot of them come back to serve in the federal government. Reconstruction was some shit.

What do we do when we see huge markups on preorders of Magic cards, especially ones that will be Standard-legal?

God...why would anyone willingly play 3rd edition? 🤢 Also? 10th is amazing. The shifting objectives as well as types of missions and deployment keep the game interesting. Some of us want gameplay that has interesting bits to it as opposed to lining up 12" in on the long board edge every time.

Do research into progressive candidates and ensure you're phonebanking for them, getting the message out to vote for them, and both voting and ensuring every single person you know votes? Yep.

"Move your meat, lose your seat" is a pretty common rule at our house. And it's usually me getting up and one of the cats or the dog hopping up on the couch to steal it lol

Also? That is a badass sculpt. GW really does make some amazing models for AoS.

What's toxic about living your life and moving on in peace?

You'll note I never said hold a grudge. It's possible to hold a neutral stance. A wise man once said, "Just because you lost me as a friend doesn't mean you gained me as an enemy. I wanna see you eat, just not at my table. I'm bigger than that." You can choose not to forgive without hating.

You're welcome to refute anything that I said. Or you can continue to add nothing of value to the conversation. Your choice.

Nonviolence only works if those you're protesting have a conscience.
comment in response to post
No one owes you their forgiveness simply because you apologized. Showing contrition doesn't undo harmful acts, it just shows remorse for them. But the injured party in no way owes someone who hurt them anything.

I feel like they can make a Shorikai combat deck work well, between the self-discard on the commander and their own Cycling. You can also do a bit of an Astral Slide/ETBs sub theme. That's the route I'm looking at right now.

Yup. They cannot be allowed to rehabilitate their image. They made a choice. They either knew he was a bigoted swindler or they were too blinded by their own bigotry to keep from being fleeced. Either way, bigotry caused them to vote that way, whether they want to admit it or not.

Also, what was he wearing? He was probably asking for it, really.

I really like how your Death Company stands out so much from the rank and file of the rest of the army. Really nicely done!

My favorite will always be Badda-Bing Badda-Bang but I'm a sucker for a good heist.

Such a great idea for an alter. Also, fantastic work, as usual.

What's really funny to me is that, though we argue about who exactly to put the blame on we all agree that the problem is billionaires. If only one of the only viable parties would take a stance on actually taxing them to pay for beneficial services and agencies...
comment in response to post
And then people who don't pay attention to anything will continue to blame Democrats and either vote for Republicans, waste a vote in some vain attempt at a protest vote that no one cares about, or stays home.
comment in response to post
Yup! There's a reason I haven't pre-ordered the commander decks yet. No way in hell the basic versions of those will continue to go for $400 after release week.

I agree. It's amazing just how much a simple head swap can give a model a ton of character.

It's why he's so obsessed with getting one. Basically his entire desire to be president and every accomplishment he wants to have is all because Obama made fun of his stupid "birther" nonsense once.

Ah, yeah. So, we have two different saves as sort of a failsafe: local and cloud. If you only play offline, you will only have a local save because you're not connecting to the server to generate a cloud save.
comment in response to post
Hmm, that last bit is odd. Do you play in Offline mode predominantly?
comment in response to post
Unfortunately no on both of those 😔I can definitely say it's a blast co-op, though.

Hey! I work at FuzzyBot and we just released our first game, Lynked: Banner of the Spark! It's a cozy town builder with ARPG elements, a deep combat system, and tons of cool stuff to unlock. We're out on Steam, PS5, & Xbox. youtu.be/x_6zU2ktIhQ?...

What are they saying now? Do they still praise their orange god-king?
comment in response to post
Hey, bud? Did you know you can criticize the weak, milquetoast actions of the party that is supposed to be opposed to the literal fascists AND you can vote for them, knowing they can be shamed and held accountable far more than any Republican can? It's almost like political ideals can have nuance.

I'm still hoping for my boy, Ramza. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Does the US government run on outdated hardware? Yes. That's basically the lone kernel of truth in his statement and what he bases his entire stupid ass ideas on.

He's just a dipshit lost causer who thinks himself a clever moderate when he's just another rube who got duped by a conman into voting for literal fascism. Redcaps like him are a dime a dozen in the rural US, likely because there isn't shit to do and the pretty lights on his phone are entertaining.

I also noticed he changed it back. It's not as easy to feign ignorance and try to LARP as a centrist or moderate when you have the flag of seditious traitors who went to war with their own countrymen so they could keep owning people as a PFP, I guess.
