My wife will never let me live down the fact that we had to get to the theater early, because "it's a Star Wars movie!" I think there were six of us total in the theater opening day.

I moved to California in 2011 and was very excited to finally try In-N-Out. I think I've been there twice in 14 years. Extremely disappointing.

Are there any plans to offer MMC1/MMC3 options for NES projects in Homebrew Factory?

I was excited until I saw the list of supported mappers. 😆 Hopefully more will come in the future. Obviously UNROM will be in higher demand than MMC1/MMC3, though.

This was my "favorite" part about being a drummer during those eight hour summer practice days in high school/college: re-petrifying the skin on my thumbs and index fingers. 😅

My wife started building in extra time for our weekly grocery runs at Target just so I could play through that demo for the nth time. 😁

Hello! Do you have any idea of your schedule this weekend? I know it would mean a lot to my wife to be able to stop by and say hi. Thank you!

Extremely frustrating, but at least "only" 52 are from this repro.

If you have a specific one on ebay, I'd be happy to buy/receive/ship for cost.

I agree EEPROM is for saving, but the theory is that there's some anti-piracy measure going on when the game can't find the EEPROM and it purposefully crashes. I confirmed the crash and the fix on my Everdrive.

Did you try changing the save type? According to github.com/ariahiro64/a... that game needs to be changed to EEPROM 16k on the Everdrive.

I don't pretend to be well-informed on the topic, but it sounds like it's understood that they used Nvidia A100s to train their model. Estimates range from 10k - 50k Tensor Core GPUs, per www.technologyreview.com/2025/01/24/1... and x.com/dylan522p/st...

I bought Conker's at my local Wal-Mart for $10 when they had dozens that wouldn't sell because they were enforcing the 17+ age restriction. Good times. 😁

Sorry to hear about the headache. 😟 What's your suggested platform/setup for New Vegas? I didn't get very far at launch on the 360 due to bugs, but I've always meant to go back.

Oh yeah, I definitely offer digital versions as well, but most people who are savvy enough to know what to do with a ROM file are also savvy enough to find said ROM file for free. 😉 There's also a tricky balance between production cost and having material for posters/books, but I definitely agree.

Nice! Christmas gifts for myself, I suppose. 😆 Thanks for the heads up!

Bishop playing cards with the Xeno was not on my bingo card for today, but I love it. 😆

Thanks Kenneth! If anyone is interested in braving the NES graphics depths with me, I'd love to discuss! Mostly looking for big (64x128 max w/ limited-color rules) monster sprites and limited-frame battle animations, but also some D&D-style heroes and NPCs as well. Lots of room for creative freedom!

Sorry, I couldn't hear you over this instant classic. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A5zP...
