Re: MAGA and H1B. In the decade I worked in HR for a huge engine maker we were one of the largest users of H1B. The main reason to use it is the average wage part. We could hire a 3.7+ GPA MSEng desperate for that H1B for the cost of a 2.9 or 3.0 US citizen from a lesser university.

Actually ran into a climate change denier. Realized that discussing/arguing with that is worse than talking to a wall. It’s arguing with a wall covered in black mold. Not only will they never move, your close proximity puts you in danger.
