It's all about the real estate.
They don't care if you're happy, more productive, or anything but money really, and because they have "wasted" office space sitting around, by god, they're going to use it!
Also, Canadian businesses invest more in real estate than business efficiency.

My cardiologist *and* my doctor said I could keep riding my bike in spite of the *massive* bruise in my groin. I disagreed.

If this had happened in a public park, that would have been something where you're allowed to freely express yourself.

Moreover, it's pretty apparent that America lacks any teeth in enforcing the law on lawmakers who ignore it, or this wouldn't even be a discussion.

Unfortunately the horrible truth is that especially in America, with the way their elections work, the laws on funding, and the laws on political advertising, it doesn't matter what your policies are, it matters who funds your advertising.
The politician who attracts more billionaires, wins.
