Something tells me you are completely inadequate to this moment. Maybe because you lean toward fascism yourself, and don’t seem to value anyone but donors.

Mid career I was unable to pursue graduate studies, because I lived far from unis that had programs. Eventually online programs had been developed and matured to allow for distance degrees, and online research.

Fascism will not be stopped by voting, writing to politicians, polite protests on weekends, etc. we need to come to terms with this fact.

Their geographic positions are far less important than their ideological ones- and it is worse for the party that their leaders are all proto-fascists and spineless punks.

In a media environment controlled by the far right, a party that chooses to set its policy based on ‘popularity’ will be a far right party. Anyone still thinking the Dems are an opposition party is willfully blind.

Fair points- thanks for replying. I agree that one sided discussion is unprofessional, and sadly very common from Western media as well. The west media treats the Russian/Ukraine conflict as if it began with the invasion, ignoring a long history, for example.

What fake news exactly? Is information ‘fake’ if it shows the West in a negative light, but ‘real’ if it shows Russia negatively? I have seen many folks with that perspective.

So proximity to Russian media and analysis suggesting the west is not entirely heroic in all things is equivalent to being a Russian asset? Seems more like you are willing to twist all data to an anti-Russian spin and resent anyone who doesn’t do the same.
