I don't think "voters are too dumb and reactionary to draw meaningful conclusions based on their self-reporting" is that insane of a stance.

Stars brought in Dwight Powell inbetween periods as a "how to get hit in the face" coach and it's WORKING LIKE A CHARM

My strategy for the democratic party is to shove you and everyone who thinks like you into a large hole in the ground and win every election for the next 5o years.

well, yeah, if you were, like, betting on if those 3 teams would be top 3, but that's not how the lottery drawing works. Each draw is a statistically individual instance.

It's fun to do the Ocean's 11 version of the lottery, but for all of that would even more insane than a 2% chance thing happening. 1 in 50 isn't that rare.

Oops were you trying to score around.... this?

He's absolutely going to look into trading it b/c he knows he needs to win right now to avoid getting fired, which is exactly why he needs to be fired before he can do that.

Fire him, I can't have his cloud hanging over this pick until the draft

The league was threatening to only put Rantsnen's name on the cup if they didn't let someone else score a goal

Mikko Rantanen creating a karmic balance for the Luka trade does unfortunately mean the Mavs are probably going to fall to 14 as CHI, ATL and SAC all jump them in the NBA draft lotto
comment in response to post
Is this what the Lakers fans felt like when they saw the trade come through?

at this point, I think they're just showing off how good their penalty kill is.

I graduated college in 2012 and never took an exam outside of class. This is the first I'm even hearing this is a thing.

Finally creates an episode that rewards earnest, unvarnished effort and sincerity. Doesn't invite Brennan.

How does OKC simultaneously not contest the rebound and also not get back on defense?

Dude sold his soul for this, but we're still in it so it's hard to say it wasn't worth it.

Team of destiny, Miro and Robo coming back, Colorado should've gone for the head when they had the chance now everyone's gonna pay

It was very impressive, but I distinctly remember at the time how nearly every free agent was forcing their way to the West to avoid LeBron, which speaks to his greatness, but also the East turned into a bit of a cakewalk. No serious All-Star-level player was signing in the East

I would say that, compared to the average American, you're something of an outlier

As a Mavs fan, it's clear to me they're 1 Anthony Davis away.
