You got one of those reverse entropy fridges and recreated the grapes? Next time you might open it to a sunny vineyard.

The agency we used in Manchester, in the nineties, charged similar percentages. You’re paying them to take on a hefty slice of the selection process. You get loads of cv’s from an advert but only 10% would be valid (or approximately sane).

Also a reminder that shipping scientific samples internationally, with correct procedures and paperwork, can be highly complex. In the pharma industry it was practically a full time job for one of the research services staff. Don’t be persuaded to hand carry.

A large triangular vehicle did fly slowly overhead earlier. Presumably to establish that the flower pot had a hedgehog motif, then spiraled away. Noisy.

Local garden centre. Coffee bar (converted Citroen van) is in the middle of a giant greenhouse. Lovely Americano at 33C. All the roof vents were open as well.

Tie offerings to the mass spec for the ghosts. A man who always placed plastic giraffes on the machine he was working on was rewarded with an OBE.

I think a repurposed Amazon van on DSA runway would do it.

It’s worth contacting them directly. I think they’re pretty good at fitting people to roles.

Might be worth giving VRS a call. www.vrsrecruitment.com/candidates Applications specialist could work. An area where there’s a bit of sociability together with scientific challenges. Feed ‘em pastries and they’ll buy kit.
