I was reading about Kent State last night, and if you'd asked me beforehand what the over/under was on "number of students bayoneted in the days before the shooting" I would have given you a pretty confident zero, and uhh, that's off by 8. Apparently, the NG used bayonets as a matter of course

Where and when did Ro Khanna disavow what he said? I'm not saying he didn't, but I can't find that anywhere, and as a resident of his district I would find it quite surprising, since Ro is a right wing loon and Elon has always has a hand up his ass

"Today, we are your defenders. The four of us will face the danger, and we will protect you". That seems fascist. It seems super fascist. Like, I didn't ask to be protected. Fuck off. Who the fuck voted for you to protect us?

I get it, I really do. But in my lifetime I've heard it about the internet, GPS, television, video games, the telephone somehow? It's just a thing that old people say about young people. Maybe it's also true, and we've just been continually getting dumber for the entire history of civilization
