Happy prospector dance?

The fact that Israel can just ask "Hey, could you help us lay the groundwork for WW3?" and the response won't be "No, are you insane?" from our own government or even cable news is the part that'll be studied for decades.

More of an inflatable mallet, really

I mean you shouldn’t need to do any reading to understand the inherent difference. The killer’s not going to a basketball game for his next target!

Seems like a feature not a bug

You guys have been too prophetic lately for me to find this funny right now. ☹️

It annoys them the most because they know you’re right

Shared a mostly empty subway car with Julia Stiles. Said hi awkwardly.

If this is how DHS and Fox hosts lie about a senator when there’s video disproving their claims, you can only imagine how they’re lying about everyone else. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...

I think sometimes his ostensible “allies” still try to get him to do what they want by pushing his buttons, too.

Protests are both for the people in charge AND the people watching on tv. And if you think any protest is going to change anything THIS administration does, we’re going to disagree about that too.

You posted about white people’s opinions. Regardless, I’m sticking with my appeal to authority and siding with the Princeton history guy. Good day.

No, it’s both

“Inspiring politicians to change things” and “optics” go hand in hand imo. Optics are the “how.”
comment in response to post
Look man, I’m not a Princeton history professor or anything, but isn’t the entire POINT of protest “optics?” (And of course, none of this is justified.)
comment in response to post
That would be really cool to see!

I think you’re generally right. I think I’m (and Kevin is) still also right about optics and marginal voters.

How do you know this with such certainty? About every one of them?

There are 200 million voters in the U.S. It doesn’t take much imagination to think of how this sort of thing can change some minds. You plaster that Mexican flag across enough fox broadcasts, and you continue to harden some of those minds the other way.

Y’all are being very all-or-nothing about it. That’s not how the world is. Did you see the video of the ACAB cybertruck from the protests yesterday? We need to win minds at the margins, and Trump supporters aren’t a monolith.

Our twins do that too. And then they’re “too tired” for chores. 🙄🙄

I dunno, this doesn’t look terribly different from the art museum area
