22. my go-to is a crosshatched sketch with a shitty ballpoint pen, but i do love gouache and i tend to fiddle with copic markers/paint markers/highlighters/colored pencils too! if i had space for a studio and the money/materials, I do miss working with charcoal and also oil paintings...

21. Lately I use procreate! I used to use CSP but I moved on to my ipad to draw since i can get comfy anywhere with it

20. I need to listen to something or else I get incredibly distracted, usually thats a movie or a video essay or an audio book... if it's new music I wind up distracted listening to lyrics or reflexively counting measures, so it's gotta be Talky or familiar music 😔

19. Definitely inspiration! A friend shows me what they're working on or an au of their character and i'm bouncing off the walls excitedly

18. The cool thing about no longer deleting my old work us that i see a steady improvement all the time! i think attaching the drive to improve with rp helps, i managed to improve my asura And my humanoids (including norn) by obsessing over characters

17. I do like to challenge myself from time to time! lately it was fiddling with a "painterly"/charcoal style but i'll push myself to focus on areas i'm weaker in by doing drawing exercises

16. easiest thing for me to draw hands down is a sparkledog. it's been ages since i've been part of a sparkledog community but its so ingrained in me that i can whip up a sparkledog immediately if asked
