Saw it in theater with my parents, during the summer, in montpellier, south of France, it was holidays, i was 9 and it was perfect.
I even remember the cashier telling my parents that i might be too young for the movie, and my father telling him it's okay i've already seen the first ones.

C'est de tristesse de voir l'état du cinema actuel, plus personne ne sait filmer comme ca. Les mecs veulent une camera libre qui bouge dans tous les sens sans forcer. Ca ne vaudra jamais un bel enchainement de plans de machinerie et le talent du gars derriere, comme De Palma par exemple aussi.

I think jingle bell rocks morphing into kamen dramatic and suspsenful score works better for the scene. It's like, You think you came to see a cool christmas movie with two cops during christmas, well it's not that fun.

Always watched theatrical cut since i'm a kid, i don't think the scene adds anything, it's like a deja vu of riggs drug deal scene, or the suicidal guy, you don't 3 scenes like that. They are all good but i prefer the drug deal one, and the suicidal guy since Murtaugh is there.
