a lot of times when i see those signs, i _can't_ not read them as they are meaning that yes, you should be very aware that there is someone adorable behind that fence, and that thus you should be deeply aware of their existence, and that they might ask for something. the scary ones don't get signs

thanks. i hadn't really thought about that. but, yeah. a lot lot lot of sense and opens up possibilities for me that i was afraid of before. set up a safe space where you can stop any time you need, and engage with the bad.

yeap. but i also think that it was peak _form factor_ in respect to actual usability and accessibility. but. yeah, nostalgia tends to gloss over the not positive parts, doesnt it :)

i... always thought of it like that, in a "inner joke" kinda way. well. turns out, i wasn't the only one on the joke.

are they the cute and cuddly gaming mouse, or the dark and edgy cases. might impact the choice of games you feed them.

yeah. from what i heard about the game, it _could_ be actually any of them. and none would break world consistency. and i find that kinda awesome.

well, i started crying reading this. i guess i'm kinda very happy for you? gonna take some time to assess the feeling. have a great night.

i've been thinking about this, the last couple weeks. thinking a _lot_ about it. -- also, that book is gorgeous. i did not know about it. thanks.

yes. and this thing, it confuses me. (disclaimer, i'm _not_ an usaian) hasn't always been protest, and hasn't always been violent police action? why are people saying 'this is not america'? because it kinda has always been? both the people's resistance _and_ the assholery of power? it confuses me.

and the ones that _are_ real, are the ones glossed over.

yeah. /shrugs devs aren't getting paid more. AAA studios don't pay rent. yeah. the only _inflation_ that these prices are doing work for, is executive bonuses.

i does feel like figuring out if you had a bad draw on a game of mistery cards, this whole neurodivergent thing, doesn't it....

🤷 honestly, i don't really know, that's always the issue with this kind of thing. also can be hard to get a GP to believe you 😞 it could be stress exacerbated, like a lot of self-immune things that stay quiet until you push too hard some day. hope you figure it out 🤞

i can never tell when it's too much to say about these things like, no clue what you have already devoted to figuring it all out, but, have you looked at hypermobillity or even EDS? they are statistically significant co-occurring with ADHD and autism ... in any case, be well.

exactly. and for that, thanks.

i'll check your thread when you're done. i tried watching the stream and i just couldn't... too much _everything_ in there. thanks for the good work *thumbs-up*

that's a very good point.

i wonder about the floating point performance, but yeah. something similar on fixed-point now. probably some demoscener thought about it but couldn't express to the rest of the team what they meant by it, and parallax mapping is early 00's according to wikipedia and my memory, and. hum.

i still can't recall why i skipped on murderbot. something about its marketing when it came out? maybe? i just remember putting it into my _nope_ mental box. looking forward to next month, when i hope i'll have the bandwidth to read it. your posts on the series have been illuminating/phenomenal.

People who says that the definition of Autism is now “too broad” are ignoring the decades of expanded understding of Autism in order to cherry pick a social construct of Autism that suits their personal interest & agenda rather than supporting the Autistic Community.

 is that you playing with the Mars dataset?

now i will have "what if i search for an acceptable reason to get on HRT so that i'm less overwhelmed by me" in the back of my mind for the foreseeable future.

the more we are open about our struggles, the more we notice we are not alone, the more we learn ways to navigate our difficulties that has been my position since learning things about me that i'm still reluctant to be open about. some day. all the love and power to you and all that _are_ open.

it's such a great feeling, isn't it, to hold your own book in your hands. i've felt it once. a friend of mine printed a limited run booklet pairing flash fictions of mine with illustration of theirs. it was a decade ago, but it is one of my dearest feelings, and one i really want to fell again :)
