A really chilling implication here is that if Trump keeps doing speeches on military bases, and commanding officers continue to tell soldiers to opt in or out of these events (as they did here), then there will be lists by base and unit of which soldiers support the administration & which don't.

I was shut down last year on FB for posting about Project 2025 & saying the immigration enforcement agencies were going to take over national policing. Paypal has labeled me a risky client even though I have outstanding credit. That started after I began taking donations for my work.

America’s Generals are terrified. They are cowed. They seem unlikely to hold the line and live up to their oaths to serve the U.S. Constitution. Trump violated the law (the Hatch Act) conducting a political rally at Fort Bragg, rousing the troops to cheer his slogans but the Generals stay silent.

ICE is gearing up to deploy to these blue cities: Chicago, NYC, the DC area, Seattle, and Philly. If any of these are your hometowns—get ready. If not—watch anyway, all the way through, because Trump’s unhinged order will affect you. Spread the word.

Nothing is sacred! Take photos for your grandchildren so they can see how great America was before Trump’s remake. apple.news/AYbwyG7AZRyi...

Trump announces he's restoring the name to "Fort Robert E Lee" and other military installations that were named for Confederates

A black man was run over in Tulsa tonight because a Tulsa police officer didn't put the police car in "Park" and the car rolled over him. youtu.be/06bn-3vjeok?...

You have no obligation to defend or explain the behavior of random street protesters. We have a lawless government that is flagrantly violating its legal, moral, even philosophical obligations to us. Everything else is secondary

The incredible Rep. Maxine Waters. Even said, “shoot straight if you are going to shoot at me”.

www.cnn.com/2016/05/16/u... Jamycheal Mitchell’s torture & death

We need to hear the Dems standing strong and firm with Rep. McIver.

This indictment is no more justified than the original charges. I will not be intimidated. My full statement:

By and large, I’ve found “Martin Luther King would never have done this” to be the calling card of people who, had they been around at the time, would have been very uncomfortable with what Martin Luther King was doing.

Contrast that with Los Angeles, where I’ve been since Thursday, and which has been entirely quiet and calm, everywhere we’ve driven around, from Hollywood to downtown, except … and this is important … where ICE has shown up www.joyannreid.com/p/an-la-reid...

To remove vaccines from ACIP guidelines, which seems to be the end goal here, is effectively a ban. If a vaccine is not recommended, Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance can refuse to cover it. Few people can afford to pay for the cost out of pocket. RFK Jr's end game is to ban vaccines!!!

BREAKING: Federal agents in plain clothes and unmarked cars tried to snatch 1st graders from LA elementary schools—told staff they had “parental consent.” They lied. When pressed, they HID THEIR IDS. DHS admits they sent them. This wasn’t a welfare check. It was a test run for a police state.

ICE raided Los Angeles elementary schools in an attempt to kidnap small children. They hid their identities, claimed they weren't ICE, and lied to school authorities that they had "permission" from the parents to take the children out. School officials luckily didn't fall for it.

I need y'all to get it out of your heads that Indigenous societies were primitive and simplistic. That's colonial thinking, perpetuated to justify the creation of the colonial state in order to "uplift" and "educate" Indigenous folks It's pure BS

Protest any way you feel aligns with your ethics & ability.

Rick Scott accusing people of Medicare fraud is something else, man.

Standing firm beneath the shadow of National Guard troops, Rep. Maxine Waters delivered a bold message: “There is no danger, there is no violence… The President hates Los Angeles because we’re a sanctuary city.” In the face of fear tactics, her defiance shines. She shows true courage. 💪🔥🕊️

They’re shooting at him for nothing other than fun. This is a game to them.

BREAKING Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) pleaded with National Guard troops not to use their weapons against protesters. The California lawmaker showed up at an anti-ICE demonstration near Los Angeles on Sunday after President Donald Trump ordered the National Guard to be deployed.

"it's not peaceful for people to be on the highway" -LA Mayor Karen Bass right now. This is what I mean when I say the word "peaceful" as applied to protesters is about prescribing placidity, not nonviolence. Calmly marching on a freeway is pretty inarguably nonviolent. " Peaceful" you can debate

This is the most LA picture. I love LA so so much.

No. I understand the desire to disbelieve our federal agents are like this, but it is true. They used 9/11 to build up a federal force in immigration that is dependent upon this brutality. If these agents had to find a job outside of this that paid 100k/yr, they couldn’t do it.

A global, far right power grab that coalesces around hardening borders, 🤔

White people telling Mexicans they dont belong here is pretty gotdamn outrageous when you think about it.

🔥 LA PROTEST QUEEN 👸 TO ARMED NATIONAL GUARD IN LA: “This is how ridiculous you look!” *Puts on a dinosaur costume* 🦕 THEN: “What the hell is this? You’re Americans, aren’t you? Put down your weapons, don’t follow these fascists.” 🇺🇸 (Someone pls buy her a drink on us)

As my grandpa told me: never trust a cop. If they tell you the sky is blue you make goddamn sure to double check

if people had voted for the nice Black lady, the gays would be dancing with the First Gentleman on the white house lawn today while President Harris worked to get Medicare to cover home Healthcare aides for our aging parents. but this is fun, too, i guess.

The weird, often whitewashed way the civil rights movement is taught (or not taught) seemed to convince a lot of people that nonviolence was met with nonviolence, instead of you know, dogs, hoses, beatings, death, etc
