Surprised to learn today that I lost 14 pounds in the past month. I made a couple tweaks to my diet, but didn't expect my body to respond so quickly. Counting my carbs per meal, but not avoiding them at all. Just trying to keep my blood glucose from spiking too high or low. Harder than it sounds.

I'm reading articles saying that if women don't start increasing their birth rate from 2.1 children to 2.7 children, then we may go extinct. What do you think about that potential? I mean, it might be a bonus for all the other species who've had to deal with us.
