It's a local only party, so you are going to have crossover at some level eventually. Tyrone Yates was a Charterite and ran for national seats as a Dem. Historically, Charter was more-conservative types who didn't want to go all in on the GOP tactics. You either buy what they are fighting for or not

I worked there in the early 90s. It was very unique then, but I've seen a lot of former employees go to stations elsewhere and spread the format. Leadership there made so many mistakes that led to its fall, and the impact here is wide. I miss just hearing about events and new albums.

Did Cage steal Cave's band? I have been wanting to hear Nick Cage and the Bird Seed.

It seems like they have really improved it from past models. Such fun to play with. Still don't know if it's all doable on a laptop with less menu diving.

The two started Laface Records and had artists like TLC and Toni Braxton. LA later became CEO at Arista and later Epic.

It was written and produced by LA Reid and Babyface. Those two were high school band mates in Cincinnati who decided to break out into the music industry in Atlanta.

I hear you. It's not that I'm cutting them, as much as not giving in to just pigging out when I eat stuff like ice cream (a weakness of mine). But I do see that most bread and rice raise my glucose now too, so I'm adjusting that to smaller amounts.

That's akin to saying we don't care if newspapers or public radio dies. There has to be a dependable venue to inform the community about public events and issues, share ideas of politics and culture, and general expression. Take these away and it's all much harder.

Was your old life in an electro band?

Exactly. They rarely seem to step in the right direction.

Everything looks to be sold out. I saw a Heeva Haava album in there. Old Cincinnati 90s band.

Ha ha. Was it the South Park version? Or the Shaft version?

I agree completely, and have discussed this extensively with friends who express interest in forcing Dems to move further left from center.

Grifters will always use what can lead them to the easiest pay day.

There was a wave a while ago, but the admins did something to make them disappear.

Conflicted. A primary functions as a single party tool. It's not designed for anyone to vote. But independent & third parties can't rise up locally. Maybe open primaries is a solution? But what we lose with that is an opportunity for lesser known candidates to make themselves known in the process.

It's not pandering if you believe that policy is the one you can actually pass and move forward with.

Indeed! Some of what they say will go extinct sooner has to do with family lines, languages, traditions and unique practices that make regions different. I could see that happening, but not sure how critical they are as long as you can live well.

What exactly is regressive that he's implemented?

I saw that tour as well and she was excellent.

Yeah, I went to a local NKY eatery and decided to try a slice of cake, which I later learned they charged me $10 for. It wasn't too long ago I could eat an entire meal with sides and desert for $10.

Let's hope you could at least *hear* it. You never know with Bob. s/

I don't like it either, but you're not gonna stop those contracts from going to one media outlet over another. Now, if you can convince NBC to put the games on network, or even USA network, versus streaming only...then I think we've made good progress.

Shouldn't it be in honor of the author Hank Ballard who released it on Cincinnati's King Records in 1959?

Can't imagine what the environmental cost of keeping those signs going is. Especially around Earth Day, seems odd to want signs to light up in such great numbers for nostalgia.

I know little about either one. You know they both have consultants right?
