Opinionated heterochromic homosexual hemiglossic. He/him. Cis. Soyboy. Views my own. Tolerance is a social contract; if you're intolerant I don't have to tolerate you. No LGB without the TQ+. Sine homines gaudere rebus. #BLM No hands but ours 👍👎.

It takes a certain amount of ego to even want to be POTUS. But Trump shows what happens when one's ego is several orders of magnitude above that minimum - especially when combined with delusions of adequacy.

Hmm, probably true. But I think he also used up the few people in the narrow space between "wacky enough to work for Trump" and "sane enough to step back from utter disaster."

Yes, you were definitely NOT chutneying here. I recognized the urge in myself and curbed it before posting!

Last time, though, there were people in the mix who, while deeply evil overall, had traces of competence and even integrity that Trump was too stupid to notice. This time his team is not just a fox in every henhouse, but a bull in every china shop.

Does this c&$t know ordinary Iranians- all by themselves - decided women could wear chador or not? Without anyone’s help? Like, just in the last two years? And now young Iranian women go around with heads uncovered or not and the men around them defend them?

Happy Anniversary! With heartfelt wishes (as welcome) for many, many more!

Since the authors didn't write the headline, I wonder if the article itself promotes this bullshit. I do not wonder enough to read an article in the NYTimes, though. NYT editorial policy is so extremely MAGATized that they could put this headline on an article that says "Look at these nutbars."

That so many so-called "originalists" have embraced fascism shows that originalism was never real, always a rationalization. The founders had many bad and wrong ideas, but they definitely opposed basic premises of fascism. For instance, they valued free speech and free elections.

instead of a 2-pack*

(Amazon doesn't appear to have an account on Bluesky, or I'd tag them.)

Fresh, which means I have to schedule a delivery time, and they won't deliver when I'm not home. Which makes sense for perishables, not for things that are shelf-stable like this. I had to order a 4-pack instead of a 20-pack on Prime. But they tried to swap this in! Assholes.

He's famous. Oh, wait, he's INfamous. Not a reason. Seriously, he has name recognition, which is a huge advantage in the primary, and registered Republicans will vote for him in the general, which might influence the more cowardly Democrats to prefer him.

It doesn't? Wow, so the primary way people block accounts on here isn't even counted? I bet he leaves everyone else in the DUST if you do count it! I'd have to unsub from seven different lists to block him personally, so I probably won't.
comment in response to post
Hmm...maybe. But I think I'd probably mouth off and get fired my first week.

Modi being India's Trump, him resigning would not be a bad thing. Even so, Trump continues to make the US a laughingstock on the world stage, having the diplomatic skills of a coked-up bull in a china shop.

But now we have their faces.

It's even funnier than I thought! Bluesky only shows you ONE of the lists your subscription blocks him from. He was also blocked by MAGA Cockroaches and one other I've unfortunately lost track of. He's now on these lists too.

Hee hee! Thank you.

10/12 for 403. Yeah, I'm amazed too. One outright guess and one logical deduction ("It couldn't be those so it had to be this one") helped. Beat the staffer by a mile, but just barely beat the average.
