Not really my main social media platform, mainly here just to follow cool people. If you're reading this because I followed you, you're cool! (You do not need to follow back; I am not cool.)

I love the stairs that lead up to railings, the stair handrail that's phasing out of existence, the chimney that leads down to where there couldn't possibly be a fireplace, and oh god I have to stop or I'll be here all night.

I didn't know that IDF pilots must be at least 15 feet tall.

It's weird that my camera shots always seem to be less hazy than it actually looks IRL, but all the guides I can find on the web are about *removing* haze, not preserving it.

Overhyped bull, as many others have said. But, I think there is a small side point. This isn't Skynet, but even a monkey that just pushes buttons randomly could do a lot of damage if you gave it access to Skynet's weapon systems.

I'm starting to feel some cardio improvement from these walks now too. I'd been walking before, to and from work, but was still getting short of breath too easily. I can now do most of these walks with fairly 'normal' breathing.

I haven't seen any official reports on the flood's effects, but it feels like it was strong enough to carve out a deeper riverbed and permanently lowered the high water mark of the river by at least a good half metre or so, and some of that got deposited various places.

I'm sure they still have the data files, but they upgraded the engine a while back and a lot of the vaulted stuff just wouldn't run in the new engine without a lot of work to update it, so Bungie can't just quickly whip up a running version of the old content.

Likewise, if I use the "before:" and "after:" filters on the inbox, I can see many more emails in old date ranges that don't appear in an unfiltered inbox.

I think there's something funny going on with very old emails in gmail. If I sort my inbox by oldest first, there's a gap of over a year between the oldest and second-oldest email. But if I look at emails I've labelled, I see some in that gap that are still marked as in 'Inbox'.

And dang, crushed it today, 6.23km in 65m12s (5.74km/h), almost four minutes faster than the exact same route yesterday.
I'm sure the pizza and fistful of Easter candy I had right before had nothing to do with it...
I still need to lose a lot of weight, but getting better cardio should help.

(I'm half-tempted to turn off HDR on my phone because Bluesky can't handle it, Preview won't edit it, and I have to do a bunch of fiddling in GIMP to flatten it before I can post a pic.)

If you're not logged in you can't see them in chronological order, you just get a 'best of' selection instead, so it's still useless for keeping up with announcements.

Just got to the 'webcomics' section and man, that's a graveyard... No point in migrating the ones that'll never update any more, but I really should go back and revisit some of them.
But you never know, String Theory and Whomp just suddenly reappeared in my feed one day!

Found at least one that was a Blogspot site that now redirects to a new domain that's just filled with obviously-AI-written generic advice. I hadn't previously noticed since it otherwise just looked like an idle RSS feed.

This also means combing through all of my Feedly links as I migrate them over and dang, some of these sites haven't updated since 2011.
Some of these sites were just people's thoughts that have now moved to other social media, others have just disappeared into thin air. So it goes.
