My only guess is that somehow Chalia saw a glimpse at the original UC timeline when the original Gundam comes from the other side, though it's arguably pretty shoddily explained ngl

Jericho being a chud is not the same as HHH paling around with Trump and RFK Jr. Nor is it the same as how the McMahon family has become entrenched in conservative politics, even having Linda as part of Trump's cabinet, on top of running one of his SuperPACs in previous election cycles.

Mistico is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world and easily the most popular luchador around today tho?

He was granted the one thing nobody in the original UC would ever give him - the right and opportunity to just be some guy, rather than the most important person in the world. Even when he was just a pilot as Quattro, he was trapped by the weight of his birth name, and by the legacy of Char Aznable

I absolutely think that if Turn-A was a product of 2025, and not 1999, there would be a backlash against its big revelations, on top of a revival of the same debate that started when it debuted 25 years ago - that the design aesthetic isn't "Gundam"-like and should not be called Gundam

I think I usualllly just go with "First" when talking about the original series

I took it as a parallel between GQuuuuuux Kcylia and CCA Char, to go with how both stories initially humanize them for a moment before reminding you that they're both monsters out to groom an impressionable teenager into a weapon of mass destruction

shockingly, his "Drop a giant asteroid on Wall Street" platform, while being the sort of radical change people have been clamoring for, has a bunch of people making wild claims like "the fallout will kill a bunch of innocent people" and "what, no, that's actually psychotic, what are you doing."

I'm wondering if threatening to kill Char was also the only way to tell him, "You don't have to carry this burden yourself," in a language he would actually understand. He's always been torn between what others expect him to be, what he feels destined to be and the free spirit he wants to be himself

It 100% was him in the credits, same with the Rose of Sharon!verse characters being the original VAs

The English Gundam fandom as most of us know it was literally launched by a series that attracted a huge fujoshi following in the states, Gundam Wing
The Japanese fandom was kept afloat not by model sales, not by sales of the Clover toys, but by women who loved the melodrama of Charmuro and Charma

If anyone sounds like a "tourist," it's the unlovable losers who get extremely mad about fujos and yuri fans in the extremely gay robot anime fandom

honestly even tho i'm not as negative about it as seemingly 2/3's of the fanbase, it mostly makes me want a Charmuro or Char/Amuro/Lalah polycule golden ending fanfic already

Emergency session now.
No more of this. Not that Vance is any better, but there have to be consequences.
