Hi Amal, I am so sorry for what you are going thru, if I could help I would but I do not have enough money to feed Gaza. I have shared your post. I really hope you get the food you need to feed your family. If it helps at all I am so angry that you are in this place, I tell everyone I know abt you

Geez I thought he must of done something really bad. Iām not a Biden fan, nor American, but trump et al are insane so I understand Biden doing this. Trump will be out for revenge.

You think itās not hell already? Weird. They been running over ppl in bulldozers. Bombing hospitals. Theyāve killed all education & healthcare. Biden & Kamala oversaw all that hell.

They used that rhetoric before Israel was even formed, itās nice & handy way to deny there was someone in the land you want to steal.

Heās too late. Biden has already seen to that.

Iād watch that. Reckon itād be an absolute hit.

That might be funny if it wasnāt so scary š§ hopefully not a sign of things to come.

I like to replace āwoke leftā with āpeople who are respectful of othersā so not sure why theyād have a problem with it. Iād say itās pretty woke to eat a bit of meat, just not to much & source it ethically, like from a regen farmer.
TL:DR - hell yeah!

My husband keeps saying how his father in law has changed since he started binge watching sky. He just sits there watches that & fox & sports, reads the Australian & then waxes on like he has a clue & the amount of bigoted nonsense that he churns out 𤮠(heās American, left to escape conscription)

Oh no Iām not getting at that. šÆ the old white men. The kids thinking itās cool & acceptable to disparage lgbt is just a symptom of the disease spreading, itās defo not the cause but does need to be treated, mostly by honest & open discussion.

Ergh. Nola. Really she is the worst. A group of women spent over a year meeting outside her office & she never spoke to them. Do you think thereās any point emailing her?

Yeh it seems like it may have been a bit prophetic for him to have called it that š¤£

Yes I get that. My dad who was an mp fought for same sex couples to hold hands in the 90s. My mates used to get beaten up for just dressing different. Things got better now I believe thereās a slide back. You dnt agree, which is fine. I feel itās worth being aware of growing fascism in our community

Politics is galvanising them.
comment in response to

Yes but youāre down playing this. Things have flipped, kids were becoming more woke but thereās a massive back slide. This isnāt just calling things gay, itās confidently claiming thereās something wrong with being gay & trans & gov is on their side, like authorities openly support the notion.
comment in response to

I dnt want to wind up social discord cos I dnt want trans to be political football.
comment in response to

No doubt theyār mirroring their parents but them thinking itās acceptable to openly mock lgbt+ in class is a shift. It felt a bit 1933 Germany tbh. Like you have to be cautious abt your response now. Of course I addressed it but I also dnt want to wind up the parents & social discord on trans rights

I meant foreign policy as in random policy decisions in other countries rather than foreign policy in the other sense.
comment in response to
post
What worries me is kids may go a way thatās harmful. Had a run in with a couple 12 yr olds harping on abt trumpās trans policies & happily telling me how great they think it is. Thereās a shift happening & itās not friendly. A 12yr old shouldnāt kno abt foreign policy.

We grow & sell various heirloom pumpkins here in š¦šŗ & a customer gave me the best pumpkin pie recipe. It was vegan as well. Heād spent a long time perfecting it. Was a bit like custard pie but more exotic. V different from my previous p.pie experience, which was OTT with marshmallow on top.

And honestly the orange turd winning is so annoying even here, some of the crap my students came out with yesterday had me wishing we still used the cane, how a 12 yr old in rural oz knows about trumps policies goes to show how insane they are.

Youād already been handed over to oligarchs, you just didnāt see them. As I said, itās all showboating. Itās v unfortunate that the alt was so incredibly bad but I understand ppl not wanting to vote for a fascist on either side, even if one was more competent. Perhaps a competent fascist is worse š¤·š»āāļøš«£

Yeh! one of the characteristics of Ur fascism kinda alludes to this, re: traditionalism:
āThis new culture had to be syncretistic. Syncretism is not only, as the dictionary says, āthe combination of different forms of belief or practiceā; such a combination must tolerate contradictions. ...ā

We have preferential voting in Australia & itās great. Best system, much more representational. I used to live in the uk & that sucked, voting wise.

I know a woman might seem like a win, & it kinda is, but they tend to b just as shit as men, thats how they get to those positions, they all gotta learn to toe the party line & keep the donors. Whatās on the outside is just showboating. In š¦šŗ the 1 we had screwed us over straight away. Just like men

I had trust in the government š¦šŗ. Not loads but actually more than I thought. I had hope that after 10yrs of neoLibs that labor would do some good. I thought certain pollies were decent. I was so, so wrong. I had a complete break of cognitive dissonance. They aināt doing shit & theyāre all the same.

Blue maga out in force. Donāt be a sicko & revel in genocide, itās sick. Kamalaās been supporting genocide for the last year. Itās happened already. Bibi did it with BIPARTISAN support. You gaffawing at people (who perhaps voted dem) trying to do something, is nasty ass shit. Donāt be maga lite.

Ew. These ppl are sickos. Why they get so excited about ppl dying? & why they think their āteamā is any better than the other one is beyond stupid. Like they donāt just watch for a year as their ubermensch sent more fire power than Hiroshima to a bunch of genocidal neonazis bent on ethnic cleansing.

Theyāre helping the memory of Zomi & other aid workers, inc healthcare workers who risk their lives in Gaza. They would be very upset if no one was standing with them to help bring attention to a genocide they risk their lives to help the victims of. We should all be doing everything we can.
