Isn't Big Sur so much fun to camp at? Scenic along 101 with the cute towns. We went fishing in the river at Big Sur camp grounds got a case of poison oak but wasn't about to let that slow me down.

My honeymoon was in Big Sur and Monterey, stunningly beautiful. Rode through Pebble Beach on that ride down and that was the one place we went slow (speed limit and people on horseback - horses spook easy). That's a beautiful place to live ☺️

OMG! I love that and it's always a blast to see something that is so iconic and seeing it IRL! I've ridden my handcycle through Santa Cruz on the way down to San Diego from San Francisco but I didn't get a chance to look around! That would've been iconic and my kids would've been so jealous.
