“I may not want the phone to ring; but I must answer when the call comes.” Extremely Liberal. I love: travel, my family, light reading, heavy shenanigans.

That makes sense! Thank you!

Maybe someone can help me out: grew up with an Air Force family and say, “yes, ma’am” and “no, sir”. I tried to figure out what the non-binary version of that was and what was suggested was, “yes, citizen” and “no, honored guest.” There has to be something else.

When Kate McMinnon is ready for a serious role, I’m guessing this biopic will be it. And to be clear, I’m here for it!

Thank you!! I’m not letting these people lie to face. I’m calling a spade a spade.

While I wouldn’t, at all, put it past those POSs, I also wouldn’t put it past them to lie about it to sew doubt is the minds of his opponents to undermine every democratic practice.

Mind posting the thread?

Stole or was just proving his genius?

I definitely don’t disagree but also I’m so sick of trying to shame these fools into acting right. It’s not going to happen.

Do you also have a letter of invitation from an Indian Citizen? That was a new thing that was implemented the last time I went to India, about 8 months ago.

They are not volunteers! They shouldn’t show up. If they aren’t getting paid anyway, they shouldn’t show up.

What do you gain by being a bully on BlueSky? Why are you trying to blow me up on your personal account? We are both liberal. We both want the same thing? What are you doing? Why?

Ok.

To whom? My 43 followers? I’m good.

Nope.

I’m already sitting. And I’m not embarrassed by your weird grudge with a stranger in the internet

Grifting? Lady. What? What, exactly, am I swindling? You want to bang on about facts. I’m not gaining anything from there. Weirdo.

You jumped down my throat for no reason. Take a breath and yes, we can update legislative language if it no longer works.
comment in response to post
Why are you so angry? You can chill out. Instead of arguing semantics, we could work on legislation that changes “broadcasting” to any “new organization”. Drink coffee, stay away from eating glass in the morning.

So again, no, I’m not.

The Fairness Doctrine, a policy introduced by FCC in ‘49, required broadcasters to present controversial issues of public importance in a manner that was honest, equitable, and balanced. eliminated in 87, because of concerns over its impact on free speech and the evolving media landscape.

Exactly. He’s soooo busy that he can cancel a meeting while we are literally in it, but if I push a meeting days before it starts, he needs a reason.
comment in response to post
No, I’m not. Did you want to have a discussion or are yes/no enough for you?

But when I’m late, it’s a “problem”.

This picture is…just vomit inducing.

This is so unkind…that I have to cover my mouth when I laugh.

We need to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine!
comment in response to post
Exactly this! This is WHY they repealed it, so the media companies that were in bed with the lobbyists at the time could profit. And they absolutely have.
comment in response to post
Actually, what we need reinstated is the Fairness Doctrine. Repealed during Reagan Admin (unsurprisingly) and led to the horrible mess we’re in now.
comment in response to post
Which is wildly unfortunate.

And are trash at finding photoshopped images.

I tried that this morning and my dog TURNED HIS SNOOT UP AT ME!

We all knew he was lying. When are people going to stop blaming the media for the failures of gullible people. If we wanna be mad, let’s be mad that the government took civics out of schools.
