Adding to this: the speed limit through that area is 80km/h and despite the other car and my car both having their hazard lights on, despite a huge tow-truck turning up with all its lights on, other drivers continued to zoom past. If you see the scene of an obvious accident, SLOW THE FUCK DOWN

The police were en route so I think they were going to dispatch it. I stayed until the CFA arrived and got the scene under control.

It was horrible, it had a broken leg and obviously internal injuries too, poor thing. They absolutely shouldn’t be here in Australia because they do a hell of a lot of damage to the bush but none of them should have to die like that, either.
