Hues and Cues. It felt more like an activity than a game, and something about it just grinds my gears. It didn't help that I happened to have a bad day prior to playing it last time.

My partner routinely thrashes me in Ark Nova... and everything else! 🤣

I think DnD is average for both learnability and storytelling, but I haven't found a replacement. The only TTRPG I played that I felt was far better at storytelling was also far worse at learnability.

Ark Nova rose to our #1 pretty much immediately!

Awesome! Where's the best place to get reminders/news for the group?

Cosy Coding Sunday was so good! You should try and get one going over there! Maybe 20 registered but only a handful turned up - honestly, I really liked the small chill group we had.
All shecoders, all on our laptops working on cool projects, and Nina really looked after us with food and goodies!

Good timing! We were collating pet photos in prep for one of my blog posts lol.
Here is Percy (grey, male) and Widget (black, female) :)

I'm hoping the same thing, that if I write about my current challenges/priorities, I might actually work on them 😅 you should go for it!

What a cool niche! My partner would love to hear about that, she loves animals and even volunteered for a horse place a couple years ago.

Forgot to mention I also ran my own business as a singing teacher for a while :P

Careful, I see "can't sing" as a challenge haha.
Did you know only 4% of people are tone deaf? But the number who THINK they are is way higher

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure I could get the entire conference audience singing faster than you can say "pub choir" if I can just get up on the stage...

👀👀👀👀👀👀
Barbershop has built-in a solution to rope in potential singers that's perfect for a conference atmosphere. It's kinda barbershop's specialty. Now we just need to track down 4 singers at next laracon AU to try it
