The 2026 White House budget directs NASA to send humans to the Moon AND Mars with the smallest civil servant workforce since FY 1960...which began in the summer of 1959. Clearly, the outcome of a "cut first, justify later" approach. This is not a serious proposal (albeit very destructive).
