Its wild seeing how far some people get into dating someone before they realize the other person is a creep.

Trying to constantly pull gold out of game developers and designers while outright abusing them as workers and people is certainly a choice for running a studio.

I don't work in game dev but I have worked in big tech companies for a while now. It is so apparent where the chips and splinters you see manifested in the game originate from. And it is not a fault of the talent they hire, but the fault of how out of touch executives run these companies.

Also I think people get really weird about the Arthas/Sylvanas stuff as if it is untouchable. I get it, but I think it prevented them from seeing how wild Arthas' end was like you said (about his soul being used to dominate others)

The primus being the baddie is so strongly hinted while never actually being told to our faces? But I still just accept it as fact!

I really enjoyed going back post Shadow-lands and watching videos from lore folks about that expansion. I think there was a LOT going on that prevented the team from being able to really land the story in a way that was a little more easily digestible, but it has so many good pieces.

I'm also trying to remind myself that we can still celebrate for putting the pieces in place to elect a hot socialist mayor, so there is also that upside.

And that's even with personally believing I think people like Cuomo should be bullied back to whatever hole they crawl out of periodically to make things suck for the rest of us. But it can't be the entire talking point of the campaign. That's all we got in 2024. No substance.

Honestly, even during the victory speech, there was a point where the crowd was about to start booing Cuomo and Mamdani kept it moving. It felt so nice in a campaign to not have to absorb vitriol being spewed all the time for the other opponents.

I'm just in awe of how much they did the damn thing we wished would have happened for the 2024 election (and past elections) and it was actually effective. Didn't have to throw anyone under the bus or compromise or move right.

(minus the obvious need to bring up how awful Cuomo was, but really only when asked!)

Just dragging around the worst takes as if they deserve to be points of conversation and have scholarly debate over them, please let that behavior go.
