The best people say this. Big beautiful people. One came up to him with tears in his eyes and said “sir, you are an utter and complete moron.” The best people say this.

Saw a young woman walking with a cane and a sign. Her sign read “I fought for freedom, not fascism”. I told her I liked her sign and she gave me the cheeriest “thank you.” Wasn’t aware at the time, but she must have been headed here. If she sees this, you are amazing and thank you for your service.

Wish they would just say it out loud, he gets really close with this statement. We all know he means white.

It’s looking more and more clearly like an intentional attack on our own economy. We won’t have enough workers to do many jobs.

Good thing the Peace Prize isn’t decided by MAGA sycophants.

Welcome back, it’s insane that you had to travel this far for an appointment. Stay well and hope the appointment is worth the trip. And yes, there’s something nasty making its way around Utah. If it’s flu it is a BAD variant.

What JHD said. This Congress is absolutely complicit and even the minority who aren’t are staying too quiet. Everyone’s afraid to upset the apple cart. Screw the apples, flip the cart already before it’s too late. History will not be kind to the silent.

I don’t know, but the Brady Bunch meals always looked tasty, and Carol was a SAHM eating maid cooked food. I grew up thinking maid cooked food was part of the American dream.

And if it can be proven true it won’t change a darn thing because his followers are that dang stupid.

Protect the Governor of Maine at all costs! Other Governors had better step up and stand beside her, immediately.

Some people are too full of hate. Don’t listen to them. Kermit is a very rare type of frog and he and all the others are absolutely real. As real as Mr Snuffleupagus was when only Big Bird could see him.

This is when people in the area take the same day and time that the parade was supposed to happen and turn it into a protest march. We cannot let them erase our history. We’re not going back.

Well now I feel obligated to do more streaming on Paramount. Gotta support the freedom fighters.

Finally one speaks up, perhaps soon an avalanche. Only thing to be decided is if they’ll stand up soon enough.

Following because I think it’s hilarious I had no clue you’d done a similar post when I started typing this morning. 😁

(approximately 52 Billion over what they cost in federall funds). If the parks have to limit services that will have a trickle down effect that will impact thousands of jobs across the country. Which will meann fewer dollars in taxes which will mean fewer Federal resources across the board….

Rangers do the job because they love it not because it’s a cushy federal job. In summary: there is no bloat in the National Parks and our economy will show the effects of cutting services that pay for jobs that not only cover their own expenses but then add more back in to help cover other budgets…
comment in response to post
The National Parks are a vital component of a healthy economy across the country and those Federal employees more than earn their wage, which is pitiful. Not a single ranger is out there getting rich off their federal income, and the time frame to hold that job is much narrower than other careers…
comment in response to post
That’s from jobs and services within the parks and the booming economy that cities surrounding the parks benefit from by proving services to tourists. The National Parks supported 415,400 jobs which all put money back into the economy via taxes and personal spending….

EXCEPT…. During the 2023 services year (I couldn’t quickly find information on if the report followed a calendar year for reporting or a fiscal year, I’m assuming that the report follows the fiscal year) the National Parks services CONTRIBUTED 55.6 BILLION back into the economy….
comment in response to post
The budget for the 2024 fiscal year (so the current fiscal year which began while Biden was still president) was 3.8 Billion. Wow!!! That’s A LOT OF MONEY. Yes, let’s cut that budget. Keep reading…

The entire purpose for the First Amendment is in full display, right here. The press is free to say the government has issues that need to be addressed by the public. Watch for a whole heck of a lot more of this coming up. Any press brave enough to speak out may find themselves here.

He is a prime example of why non-Americans aren’t allowed to be President. And yet, here we are. Not elected, but he crawled through the back door right into the Oval Office anyway.

My now 18 yo knew who he was before she was 12 (along with his cousin Teddy). How does any American reach adulthood without any exposure to FDR?

Good thing I’m alone in the office as that elicited a snort laugh that might have been slightly embarrassing in public.

I’m so tired my brain went “there was no President LaGuardia”. Fortunately the awake part immediately retorted, “that’s not the airport he meant you ding dong”. 😆

If there’s insufficient enforcement of the current ban how will there be increased enforcement on the new bill? What have we done or what will we do differently to make sure kids aren’t getting their bubblegum vapes?

Except there won’t be issues for him or other private planes. They’ll pay for a private airfield that’s fully staffed.
comment in response to post
This right here. Airlines and airports will have no choice but to limit the number of flights in and out of any given airport. Air travel is about to become unattainable except for the wealthiest and even some of them will find themselves in coach.

The article uses the word “Palestinian” 3 times. Once in a quote from the shooter, once to say that law enforcement didn’t mention nationality, and the final time to clarify they weren’t Palestinians. Seems like exactly the right amount of lingering.
